Yeah, I wanna know where Alan's star is too! This is totally outrageous! He so deserves one! *fumes* Lots of those people deserve it, but so does Alan! C'mon, give the man a star!!!
I am madder than a mashed cat! (no offense, this is something my boss sez)

There's a new clip from The Search for John Gissing, kindly found by INTJ. You can download it HERE. It is well worth the watch. Why they have never released this film is beyond me.

Thanks for the link, elsa! I also found this quote from the Daily Mail (an upmarket tabloid, so I wouldn't say that this is 100% factually correct!) "Even being voted one of the 100 sexiest stars in film history doesn't help get you a reservation at the best restaurant in the world, as arch actor Alan Rickman has found to his cost. The self confessed gourmand, 59, has yet to dine at legendary Spanish eatery El Bulli, where chef Ferrran Adria uses liquid nitrogen to create the "molecular cuisine" that has earned three Michelin stars. "I've been trying to get a reservation all week," complains Alan, who is in Barcelona filming the movie version of Patrick Suskind's cult novel Perfume:the Story of a Murderer. It had better be a long shoot, Alan: the next available reservation is April 2006"

Thanks to RINGO for spotting a new pic of Alan as Snape in the forthcoming Goblet of Fire movie (46 days people!!). It looks like he's still enjoying tormenting the guys! BTW: I was translating a website from French into English (long story) and Snape was translated into 'Rogue' which I thought was quite interesting...

I got a reply from Alan's assistant!! I know it isn't news, but well, I feel that it is because I was positively jumping up and down when I opened the envelope and on the top of the paper it said "Alan Rickman" ;D
I wrote to Alan's PA, Melanie, to ask if he was going to the GOF premiere, last tuesday (27th Sept). Today I got a reply! I was gobsmacked! I wrote so early expecting it to take weeks and I seem to inadvertantly shot myself in the foor with my prompt-ness! The news wasn't so good in so much as she "cannot confirm yet whether he'll be attending and that "it probably won't be confirmed until much closer to the time" (I like the "yet" part, makes me feel hopeful! ;D ) She went on to say she was sorry she couldn't help and that she hoped I have a nice day.
But whoohoo I got a reply! *Dancing in chair* ;D

It's beginning to look like our clicking fingers are getting tired. Alan only has 17,354 votes last I checked ;D. I am only joking about getting tired! We are leaving the others in the dust. Nice work everyone! Keep it up!

Whilst voting again for Alan at the Hello pollI noticed that they have they have the previous monthly winners posted, who Alan will join for a "grand finale" at the end of the year. We're going to have to keep up the voting when he gets to that round- just look who he's up against?! Monthly Winners
