I thought I'd start a thread where we can post links to and discuss websites (with "everybody" content of course, ), as well as personal blogs, and "techy" stuff. What are some fun games to play? Good joke sites? Virtual pets? A good graphics/code site? Just plain cool? Want to show off your blog? Etc. Here's the place!

sorry if this sounds rude or something... keep in mind i am not mod, and I respond well to "shut up SW", but wouln't it be good to merge this thread with the "fun links" thread in the Fun and Games folder? feel free to tell me to shut up

Ooop, Squirrely you may be right! I didn't think about the fun and games area. I kinda thought more of a "favorite things/show-offy" thread. It may well be better in the Fun&Games. Does someone want to move it/close it/whatever? Or leave it; I'm easy. Squirrelywrath - totally not rude at all!

(As always, gals, if this is in the wrong place, sorry! ) Ok - I've been away five days! I can't believe it. Here's my pet project: Occam's Codex, which is a sci-fi/fantasy forum. I've been poking, prodding, and adding touches for a while, feel free to stop by for a visit. (P.S. ActingAngie is a holdover from Chamber of Secrets, elsewhere, I'm known as angiealight ) Remember Lite-Brite? There's an online version! Another place I've been frequenting a lot of late (and dropping Alan's name a time or ten) is Mrs. Nesbit's Disney BoardI check out comingsoon.net frequently. Right now, there's a short article on casting for Luna Lovegood! HERE. I've fallen in love at first sight with this site: Dictionary of Everything Haven't had much time yet to check it out, but it looks fantastic. Yes, I put in Alan Rickman and it brought an article at factbug.org Speaking of whom, I found this place, movieThemes, neat. ~Angie ;D

I thought you guys were right, and moved this into the Fun and Games section, hope that was ok I couldn't figure out how to merge it with the Links thread, unless I was to close one I'm rather fond of that little site that scrolls along my sig down there *points furiously*. The bachelorette who runs it is a rather charming lady dedicated to Teh Man ;D *steps down from my soap box* I adore www.imdb.com of course, fabulous of all things film/actor related!

Hehehehee! Love it! Have you seen that Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper commercial? The gal's on a date with a fella who keeps talking about how wonderful he is, takes a sip of Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper, and everybody in the cafe does the Mahna Mahna "do doo da doo do" and the guy's saying "Mahna Mahna"
I'm not much for commercials normally, but that one's fun!

I love that! I've got Muppet Show Season 1 and it's on there! It's also on the Muppet Show soundtrack CD as well. It's my sister's fave. Well, I ought to post a link, since this is for websites. I like this one, the Acme Labs License Plate Generator! Yes, you can generate a License Plate for any of the 50 states and Canadian provinces with anything on it! www.acme.com/licensemaker/They also have a Label Generator (think Dymo labels) and a Candy Heart generator. I think they may also have a link to a church sign maker as well. Here's what it looks like:

I found a website (actually a friend did) about history essays. 1st off, it's a funny site because the essays posted (well, they're pieces from essays) are from people who apparently don't know anything about history. 2nd, YOU don't need to be a history-nerd (like I am) or a historian to realize the mistakes these people did. Anyway, enjoy: www.anst.uu.se/gustmoge/fun/essay.htmlHope to hear your comments on the very funny website. :-) And here's the website to my blog and MySpace profile, if interested: blog.myspace.com/17120792www.myspace.com/17120792

These just had to be made up - they're too outrageous!! Thanks for posting this link!

www.chaoskitty.com/angel/ck_wls.htmlAs found by tigersnake Alan's beautiful reading of Shakespeare's sonnet number 130, "My Mistress Eyes are Nothing like the Sun" from the RADA When Love Speaks cd. The images they use and when the words pop up on the screen made it easier for me to follow what Alan was reading. I have the cd but find it hard to sit and listen to the readings one after another.
