Oh! How exciting!

Okay so here's a few news items:
Kingsley Shacklebolt has been casted (this is being discussed in the OotP Movie thread)
The GoF has been nomination for an Oscar! For "Achievement in Art Direction." (Read more at Mugglenet)

Mugglenet is reporting:
Michael Wildman's (Casualty, The Merchant of Venice) agency revealed to CBBC today that he would play the role of Forbidden Forest centaur Magorian in Movie 5.

Also:
Newsround also said the following today: "With filming about to begin on The Order of the Phoenix, more casting - including many major roles - is expected to be announced within the next 24 hours, and we'll have that news as soon is it's out."

God I hope Alan plays Snape again. The Occlumency and Snape's Worst Memory scenes will SUCK if Alan isn't Snape. As I've said before Alan Rickman IS SNAPE!! There isn't any other way to say it. I'm looking forward to the movie purely based on those scenes alone. He probably will play Snape, but who knows. They could be keeping quite knowing what a huge fan base Snape has because of Alan.

I also want to know who will play the teenage Severus. Should be interesting.

In the mean time I'm keeping my fingers and my toes crossed it will be confirmed Alan will play Snape again.

Luna: A 14 year old girl called Evanna Lynch from Ireland

Tonks: Natalia Tena, Been in only a few things Mrs Henderson presents is one.

Umbridge: as we know Immelda Stauton

Bellatrix Lestrange: Helen McCory as rumored.

Little pics with them but not that big to make a Proper jugdment. Go ahead and look!

The article on Mugglenet about the begining of filming say "Joining the stellar cast are.." and goes on to list Imelda Staunton etc. I am thinking that means all the original adults are returning including our very much loved Alan. Woo Hoo!

Wow! I would hope so! But I can't wait until Warner Brothers officially announce it, which should be soon, seeing as Snape takes a bigger role in the 5th one.

I think that pic looks like a Luna to me! ;D the small pic that Mugglenet first posted was poor and i thought she didn't look the part but this pic is better.

Yeah, I think they did a great job casting her. Hope the movie is great!

Hey all www.mugglenet.com have posted news on the actors to play Lily Evans and Grawp for HBP already although they say the info maybe not be legit i thought i'd post it anyway

A girl called Susie Shinner isrumour to plat Lily Evans

A guy called Tony Maudsleyis rumoured to play Grawp here is a pic they have linked.

I remember Tony Maudsley in Vanity Fair with Reece Witherspoon. They still haven't answered the most important questions. Who is going to play the young Severus Snape? Is Alan returning as Professor Snape? Sorry if he doesn't, I'm not going to see the movie.

I wonder what is holding him up in signing? Just curious really! I'm not worried, because I have a good feeling he will sign. If he weren't going to sign, I think we would have heard at least rumor that he wasn't (like we have with Robbie Coltrane), but I AM curious as to WHY he hasn't yet signed. They are starting to film this month right? So strange.... ! Anyway...just a thought !

No I think the problem is that they haven't let him signed, not the other way around. I read he was showing "enthusiasm" for re-playing Snape, yet he hasn't signed. Plus, he's been busy, so maybe he hasn't had a chance to swing by the studio and sign the contract.
