A bit early to be casting for DH, but I agree he looks perfect for the part. I checked him out on IMDB. And if you want to know what one of my cousin looks like, go there and look at the second and third photos. Really funny.

www.bbc.co.uk/wiltshire/content/articles/2007/09/17/harry_potter_lacock_2007_feature.shtmlHope this article is accessible as it contains in the above the name of 'you know where-which may not be named! I am getting so excited even if I can't get to see any filming I shall certainly get near to see the set when they are done. The carpenters are usually very accommodating when one praises their craft. All modern fitting have to be removed and false doors are put over any that don't look the part. Hoots of laughter! ;D ;D The Dark Lord has struck again, if you transcibe the 'lathingy' to l a c o c k but without the spaces, it will bring you to a wonderful article about the filming of the Half-Blood Prince. Lunched at 'The Sign of The Angel' in lacock today, there has been some filming done of exteriors, one house had false 'beams' painted onto the front, don't know why....most houses have the original beams insitu! The Sign of The Angel. This is a shot of previous 'staging' for filming in the village. The painters were just finishing the 'thatched' false front on this building. This is the same street as the Harry Potter filming is taking place, except it will be night scenes. A view along Church Street past the 'Angel'. Roxanna

Looks like some good choices. Frank Dillane was in Welcome to Sarajevo. There are some photos on IMDB, but since he was only about six years old in 1997 when the film was made, it's hard to picture how he's going to look as the student, Riddle. Nothing on Hero Fiennes Tiffin, but I did find a Mercy Fiennes Tiffin. Sounds like all the same Fiennes acting family. Guess we're not going to see Scrimgeour in this movie, maybe not even the last one. Also, I didn't see Mark Williams on either Mugglenet or IMDB's list. Molly is coming back, but no Arthur.

I didn't notice those names missing... that's a shame but as always, certains things have to get the axe.

So, what do you think of Yates announcing that HBP is going to be a romantic comedy? I like that Rupert is going to get a chance to show off his incredible comedic talent, but really .... Are Rpn and Lavendar going to be snogging under The Lightning Struck Tower? Is Harry finally going to learn how to dance with the Inferi in The Cave?
Hopefully, it's just going to be comic relief. There's both light and dark in the book and hopefully, Yates has achieved a balance of both. I guess we'll know in a year.

Okay, so this isn't technically movie-related, but it's pretty close. You know the Tonner doll company who is producing a line of HP-movie-likeness dolls? GUESS WHO IS ON THEIR LINEUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Professor Snape! No picture yet, but it is based on Alan's likeness! Now each of us could own a mini-Snape. Mmmmmm. (Except for that price! Yeesh!) As a (former) doll collector (having pared down my collection considerably)...I can't wait. Tonner is one of the best companies in the business. I've been waiting for this from the day they announced they were doing a HP line. (Of course the GWTW line is begging me to buy it, me being the big Scarlett fan I am...*sigh*)

Haven't heard too much lately along the HP line. Understood that filming was suppose to start up in Feb. for AR on his part of the film. Will be a great second half of 2008. Bottle Shock in July, Nobel Son in August and HP is suppose to be released around Christmas from what I had heard. Of course I guess it could all change.

They got pictures of his double. That's cool. Does anyone know what scenes they are filming here?

In general they film the Hogwarts courtyard scenes in the cathedral "cloisters"- e.g the scenes from HP4 of Moody turning Malfoy into a ferret. Not sure what specific scenes that includes for HP6.

James Phelps is working as a runner on HBP so I wonder if we're going to miss out on U-No-Poo. It'll be a shame not to have the twins even in a short scene.

I saw the Tonner doll but i didnt like it one bit, i much prefer the Neca doll ( that i have). As for HBP, it should,in my opinion, be divided into 2 movies as well, as should it been done since book 4,not just for book 7. I saw some pics of Snape/Alan for HBP and loved them.

This was just passed on to me by someone at work. It is sad to see this especially since he is so young. I know that our teens and their teens need to feel protected and safe but I hope they don't push the situation to the breaking point. Not sure I recognize his name or the Characters name. Anyone recently read H-BP that might remember the character? Will have to give it a check out. This is nuts. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24808304/
