not sure if this qualifies... or just makes me sound insane ;D i was baking today, a recipe I have memerized... anyways, how many of you have listened to the Bell , the song by Mike Oldfield? ( you can find it over at britbitsandclips.com/AR_Audio.htm)well, if you haven't heard it the song features Alan as the Strolling player, in other words as new instruments are added into the song Alan introduces them "grand piano, tubular bells" yeah.. so you probably know where I am headed.. I could "hear" Alan baking along "brown sugar, butter"

This was actually the other day . . . but 'I was thinking about Alan' when I got my Judas Kiss DVD from eBay (Yippee!) and my husband looked at it and said:
Him:"You sure seem to be into Alan Rickman lately" Me : "Uh" Him: . . . Me: *thinks 'ut oh'*
Honestly - wasn't he already aware? Is this some kind of surprise? LOL! Men!

Today at work I had an Alan moment,a work mate of mine could not get her pc to work,he was cursing to himself when he suddenly lost it,I slowly went over to him and helped him out, when we had sorted out the confusion,I simply turned to him and said... "Never give up,Never surrender",to which he replied,"Okay then,I wont..." Silly I know, but it made me smile, thanks Alexander Dane....

OMG: listen to this conversation I had with MY husband last night! Let me paint this scene for you first: Last night...my husband and I were driving to the pub. We were listening to the radio. O.K., Cold play is on, and I'm kind of zoning out, thinking about my incredibly horrid week at work, and how I am going to enjoy a nice cold relaxing drink and pizza. It's raining, and the wipers are on and all of a sudden I hear my husband say... "Alan Rickman", so I snap out of my trans *shake head and look at husband*. Here is the conversation... Husband: Alan Rickman Me: Huh...what? Husband: Weren't you listening to the announcer on the radio? Me: uh...no Husband: He asked for people to call in and let him know what celebrity you would like to be left with if you were last two people on the earth. You would probably want to be with Alan Rickman right? Me: ...uh...well..o.k.! If you say so! Husband: That way you could repop----- (sorry mods...he really did say that - can you believe it? I actually can't believe it - I'm in shock) Me: ...uh... *uncomfortable shift in seat* honey...what are you talking about? I wouldn't want to do that *crosses fingers behind back* Husband: Don't you like Alan Rickman? Me: ...Uh...he's o.k...and you're right...if I were to have to choose one celebrity to be left on the planet with, it would be Alan Rickman, because he is intelligent . Husband: Oh...o.k. whatever you say! Me: You know what this means honey? Husband: what? Me: I am going to have to tell this story to everyone at the ARAS site! My husband is a bit embarassed! He tried convincing me not to tell you all, but heehee, I had to! It was priceless! Edit: Looks like we are kind of in the same boat Billywiggy *LOL*!

I totally just ratted out my husband without even thinking about it! lol! LOL! That is so funny! When pressed, I just keep talking about how very talented AR is . . . how interesting and different his movies are (all of which is, of course, true - bury 'em with the truth, right girls?!). I may have to hold off on any more DVD purchases for awhile though! ;D

The more I say...the less suspicious I look ! How do you think I have 21 of his movies as we speak? I'm beginning to think we are two in the same mind here Billywiggy ;D! Except there is no way I'm holding off on my purchases !

My grandmother picks up the tabloids every week when she goes out to the grocery store. Well, I'm flipping through it, just seeing what kinds of stupid stuff is in it. I get to the crossword (and I don't remember the name of the tabloid, but I think it's Examiner) and I read one of the down clues: Rickman from "Harry Potter" movies. Being the ever-so-popular whacknut of the family, my hand reaches for a pen and goes through the entire puzzle, answering any questions I could answer (including that special down clue).

when I went to organize my movie collection! came across a bit of a dilema- I like to alphabetize my movies, but have always kept Alan's stuff in its own special pile... now there is enough that I want to mix them in as they don't look organized all on their own give in to my analretentive nature or my (perfectly understandable) Alan obsession?

I'd vote for the Alan obsession . . . but you can compromise - put them all at the very beginning (under 'A' for 'Alan Films') ;D

I was in my english class, and we were talking about bad guys and what led them to there down fall. I was thinking about what I could see, and I though Alan as the Sheriff. That has happened before, thinking about Alan in class.

Hello, I was thinking about Alan today when I was doing my Christmas shopping in town (London) and was wondering which department store he bought that pendant necklace in (blackguard!)
The story in Love Actually between Alan and Emma Thompson was wonderful acting, makes me choked whenever I see it.

Today might have been the big time for me.
I'm in the middle of this roleplaying thing, and the professor has just given me detention. Well, since this set in the sixth book, it's DADA and Snape. I swear to God, the person playing Snape has just given me the willies! I'm thinking I'm now talking to Alan rather than the kid who's playing Snape. (The great thing is that I'm acting as a Slytherin. I thought "Snape" would just deduct house points from Slytherin. Guess I was wrong.)

Sorry for double posting, but today's a whole different story.
JK Rowling's website has this place for links (click on an uncapped pen). On the bookshelf, right next to the candle, you'll see this book entitled "Sense and Sensibility". And I immediately thought of Alan when that happened.

so...last night I got to the elementary school to set up the stage, in preparation for our evening band concert. When I finished setting up the last of the stands and chairs, I took stroll down the dimly lit, abandoned hallways - the ones that would soon be filled with anxious young musicians , and proud picture taking parents ;D -I began to whistle our third selection of the concert...Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" (Yes - the one Hans Gruber hums in Die Hard). It didn't occur to me I was doing it, until I had already begun, and the sound of the whistling was permeating through the halls. I just had to smile, and I couldn't help but think of Alan at that moment. What a fantastic time to think about Alan; right before a big concert...It made me happy and I ended up relaxing a little easier the rest of the evening! I Just thought I would share that with you !

Well I was thinking of Alan today (and quite frankly alot of yesterday too ) when I opened my present of my pal and it was the page-a-day Goblet of Fire calendar! I don't know where she managed to get it from but I hadn't seen it anywhere (nor had my frantic mum!). I'm so chuffed! I was thinking of Alan when I flicked through each page and memoried on what days Snape appears (he's in five times! more if you could blurry figures in the backgroud!) ;D

I feel lucky cause my boyfriend can imitate Alan Rickman's voice and when we're at school sometimes he sits behind me and whispers "Tell me...miss Grey, why...fame...isn't....(whispers deeper and touches my ear with his lips)...everything..." I know those are not the extact lines, but I'm just like "OMG!!!" I almost believe it's Alan because he's a GREAT imitator of Alan's voice ^.^
