How to improve the ARAS forum - your views please

I've noticed a decline in the activity on our forum recently and thought I'd post a poll and ask for everyone's comments on how we can make the board that buzzing, chatty place it once was.

- Do you want more polls?
- Do you want to see more up to date news?
- Should we get more games up and running?
- Do you want fan fiction competitions, quirky quotes & caption comps?
- Do you want to be more involved and have some ideas of your own? Please tell us

- Do you not like the threads any more, are they outdated?
- Are the activities too boring?
- Is there not enough to do here to make you want to come back
- Have you found a better forum?

Ultimately, what I am asking is, What can we do to make it more interesting?

Please do not hesitate to be honest, if you aren't telling us what you really think, we can't do anything about it. Please PM me if you don't want to post on here your thoughts.

For me, I have been unable to dedicate as much time as I used to for the forum, but I'm hoping to put that right and hope you can help!

LOL - just kidding about my vote. Like I could really lose interest in Alan, and want to stop discussing his talent...now how could you think that ? I've actually been extremely lazy buzy, and I haven't bothered to been able to log in much

I'll make more of an effort to log in and post, instead of reading the new posts and moving on to another website ;D. Also, freshening up the site with new threads does sound like a great idea. I'll start brainstorming too .

I got lazy. Too lazy to log in (or stop by a lot). Fact is, I don't post most anywhere anymore.

There was no one posting in a month or so, so I didn't even bother looking for a while. I missed the thread so much, because you guys (gals...sorry) are the only people I talk Alan Rickman with. I hope the activity starts back up. I think we deserve a grand reopening of the threads.

we could have a night were we watch a movie and then talk about it afterwards, like the book club we had...or maybe we could start up the book club...just ideas

Hi guys!
I've voted: I've lost interest in Alan but the main reason I've abandoned this forum for a while is that I've given birth to a son and don't have much time. What's more important, I admit, is that I've lost interest in HP and although Alan as Snape was always brilliant, in my opinion Deathly Hallows was so badly written that I turned my back from Snape a little.

Not to say Alan is Snape and nothing more, you know I love him and Galaxy Quest especially

I've just been too busy with tons of other things, and that's the reason why I've been lacking commitment to this board. With hockey season ending here and racing season now moving in, I'll be able to get on here a little bit more without stuff preventing me from doing so.
