hmm .... doesn't watching Alan usually promote a fever? After watching An Awfully Big Adventure I have to say that yes, it did promote a rise in body temperature For those of you who've seen it, you know what I mean.

Came across this little gem by accident. Parts of the movie withSeleck in the bush drag on a bit. Alan made the film without doubt.

Oh i love this movie, one of my favorites actually. Im not much of a western movie person, and the only reason i love this movie so much is because Alan Rickman is in it! Gosh he is so good looking, i love that hat mustache. I finally bought this movie and i watched it the other day for the 20th time.

I've seen this movie twize. And I have to say I would never have seen it, had it not been for Alan. I normally don't like western. But I loved Alan in this movie. I thought all the other actors, and the plot of the movie, was crap really. But Alan looked very sexy as a Ranch owner, and the hat, the mustache and the boots makes him very macho.

Watching this movie for the second time, coughing and sneezing into a tissue, in bed wrapped in a warm blanket, I really enjoyed it! Alan is so funny. Every line he had...I was in stitches, or maybe I was simply delirious (sp). So Quigley Down Under started my Alanathon in hopes that it will help me recover. This morning I watched Harry potter 1, but I fell asleep after the troll incident ooops! That's o.k. though, I've only seen it a trillion times ! Recovery update: fever is gone! hehe I always have an alanathon when I'm ill (or hungover :/ ) he makes me feel better ! I was a bit pooley sick this weekend actually, I watched all the harry potters in one day, then all the snape scenes in prizioner of azkaban in slowmotion. (LOVE THAT BUTTON!!) I have quigley down under, and dispite the star being an overgrown plank of wood, I thought the film was hillarious, even when it shouldn't have been lol Of course, alan was amazing and *contraversial !!* I prefered the quigley stash to the jamie brush ;D

I was really looking forward to seeing this movie today. But duty called. Had to pick up my Mom's meds and fix her phone ... beyond my expertise ... BellSouth had to call in their computers.
Anyway, I saw the last 20 minutes. I see Alan got over his jumpiness at guns going off (Die Hard). ;D
There was too much shadow to see Alan properly, but there was enough to elicit several deep sighs I don't know about anyone else, but I'm tired of seeing our man die. Time to pull out Sense and Sensibility and watch him get the girl instead.
Other than that, give me Alan in black hat and boots any day.

I watched this film and loved it! I'd have to say my favourite line was.
"Oh by the way you're fired!"
I had an Alanathon as well! I watched Blow Dry afterwards.

And I'm sure Alan had many more great lines, I just have to see the movie from the beginning. Blow Dry would have been just the thing after the intensity of Quigley.

Intensity? Desraelda? Apart from the running those poor Aborigines off the cliff I found the film to be quite easy to watch...

People were getting blown away right and left and Alan was getting pretty intense. I really must see the whole thing and I'm sure I'll enjoy it more.
