This one was very confusing. I was very disappointed with the movie because, well, most of it didn't even make sense. And Alan's and Emma's accent threw me off completely.

I was rather confused by this movie, and I think the accents distracted me from the plot

The accents aren't the best, and the plot is a little weird. However it's the wonderful chemistry between Alan and Emma that makes this movie watchable (though you may need the fast forward button). I would seriously watch a movie written by a 4 year old, just as long as Alan and Emma play the two leads...

The plot was kind of confusing, I agree. All the people kind of got on my nerves, too, except for Alan and Emma, who, of course, did a great job as always. Though, I'll admit that part of my confusion was caused by the fact that I missed around 20 minutes in the middle. I got bored when the kidnapper gal was talking, and thought I could afford to take a few minutes to get a quick snack, only it wasn't very quick. Next thing I knew, it was the last eight minutes or so.

I just got this on DVD for 5:99, bargain!
What accents have they got? I am not too keen when Alan does an accent.

I think he plays an American in this one . . .[/quote]Disgusting Southern accents that um...well don't really grow on you !I found it on e-bay. It was hard to find...but I found it from someone who was selling DVD's in Hong Kong. It played fine on my region 1 DVD player, so I'm happy ;D! I wasn't particularly happy with this DVD dealer, but there was a website on the Judas Kiss DVD if the Mod's will let me post it...and if you would want it. Just let me know! Otherwise...I'll just keep it to myself !

I would seriously watch a movie written by a 4 year old, just as long as Alan and Emma play the two leads... Oh, I completely agree! The plot was a bit boring and straight forward at first, and then there's 'the twist', but it's just the one twist, and it's not very sly, and then that's it. Bit lame really. For about 10 minutes there, I was thinking "Now this is getting good!" and then it just fizzled again. Ho hum. Well, but Alan was great in it (as usual!). I really loved the interaction between him and Emma - they should have had loads more of it! I also loved the scene where he takes the golf club to that guy's cast . . . I guess I just love the 'high emotion' scenes ;D

I loved Gil Bellows in this film as well i used to love him so much in Ally McBeal Yeah, he was really good in this! And you know, I was surprised how many familiar faces were in this movie. I know I've seen the girl somewhere else, can't think where - and Greg Wise (Willoughby from Sense & Sensibility) too, although his part was so small (and mostly just him in that mask).

I didn't know till the other week that Emma Thompson and Greg Wise are married! Really!! Wow! I knew they got together during the filming of S&S, but I had no idea they got married!! Wowie zowie! Good on her (he's quite a bit younger than her, isn't he?).

I read somewhere that Emma had joked that if she had never met Greg, then she was going to kidnap Alan and force him to marry her!!!! He looks great in this film, but it is not one of my faves....

I found this movie very hard to follow actually, even though I have seen it several times. But I loved the chemistry between Alan and Emma But their accents threw me off a bit, especially Emma's... But there were some really good scenes in there with Alan. The hitting the cast with the golfclub..lol.. And there's a sentence from Alan I really liked, I don't remember it word for word, but it was something like this: "I've been drinking bad coffee for the past 45 minutes, waiting for his highness to emerge" Being a coffee addict myself, I found this line incredibly funny lol ;D
