I saw a pic of him arriving for the press conference and with that zip up jumper he was wearing jeans, casual black shoes and a long black coat, unbuttoned, almost to his knees. The man was smoltering! Oh, and his partner Rima's been there too, she seems very camera shy. It would be nice to have seen her go to the premiere with him. [/quote Do you know where to find that picture? It sounds like a very nice one ! The combination of that jumper top and jeans...oh how sweet . You know...it would be nice to see a few pictures of Alan with Rima together! There really aren't very many of them it seems! These Snow Cake pictures are wonderful ! Thanks for posting them mugglemichelle ! Riiiiiimaaa, WHO??? Lol! Have a good one!

Alan Rickman is at his nuanced, emotional best. What an apt description. The last time I found a website that talked about a U.S. release, it mentioned September, but said that was unconfirmed. I am waiting, for the Toronto film fest to list their complete lign-up. The festival is in september, and a number of movies that start there go into wide release shortly thereafter

Ok. I have now seen this movie. I absolutly LOVED it. I loved the chemistry between Alan and Sigourney Weaver! The movie was heartwarming, moving, sad and funny at the same time. If this movie does not get released on dvd, I'm going to cry. A must see movie!!

DETAILS, lb, we want details!!! ;D How many minutes was Alan on screen? Most of the movie? How long into the film before we see him? A synopsis of the story? (You realize, of course, I am only slightly joking) Of course I'm certain it is a wonderful movie. I'm glad you loved it...I just hope it is released soon over here (hopefully in theaters, but DVD would be ok too) Now I really can't wait to see it!

is there LOTS of Alan time? Yes, Alan plays the main character!!. ;D Let's put it this way: There isn't a scene without Alan in the whole movie. That I can think of.. Hmm, how many minutes? Most of the movie actually! We get to see Alan straight away. ;D This is a very Alan friendly film, he is the main character. So, I do hope everyone gets to see it. It's one of his best performances in my opinion. ;D If you guys want me to spoil it, I will. LOL
