my favorite so far would have to be Blow Dry with Galaxy Quest falling very closely behind. Welcome Saphira! So, you like the comedies, eh? Good choice, good choice! I don't think he does nearly enough comedies . . . but you have to check him out in Sense & Sensibility - if you are a romantic at heart, you will love him in this one! Anyway, we're glad you're here - happy posting! ;D

Oh Sense was good, although marianne irritated me and i thought he deserved far better ;-D but I'm not much of a romantic. Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The gal Alan fell for in "Sense and Sensibility"? Ugh! What a useless idiot! He should have stolen Emma's characters' heart before the wimpy Hugh Grant character came back, as well. Let the two wimps get together, let Alan have Emma. ;D Eh, sorry. The female character Colonel Brandon falls for just really annoys me. Great actress, though, she played her part quite well. Oh, and hi, everyone. I'm hypatia or hypatia99 or hypatiacat depending on where you see me log in. I'm a community college math instructor in Arizona, waaaaaaaaay down by the border with Mexico. As in: you can see Mexico from here. I adore Patrick Stewart and Alan Rickman. Alan's my recent favorite. I've got an old, gray kitty and a lovely yard. I can't think of anything else to say in the way of introduction, so ... hi! And thanks, Alanfan1979 and Saphira for letting me know about this board. ;D

Why thank you, Wiggy and Winky. Wiggy and Winky. That sounds like a Vaudeville act. ;D (Sorry) And yea, to the best Alan board I've ever visited. It's the only one I've visited so far, but boy, I learned a lot just lurking for an hour this morning. Nice place. Nice facts, links, pictures. But most of all: nice people.

That's the name of my game: being too funny. Perhaps that's why they banned my first signature name at the Warner Brothers Harry Potter board. ;D

Will one of you decapitate the other on a weekly basis, too? > Only if paid really well. Um, winky gets to go first . . . *smirks evilly a la professor Snape* PS - Does anyone know how to quote more than one person without doing it manually? Hm . . .
