Ok - it's been established that Snape doesnt have a daughter - however I was thinking about him having a son...
Reading JKs page...she says that dean thomas was going to be far more important than he is - he was sacrificed for neville essentially.
Anyhoo - he is a black londoner with muggle parents - BUT his muggle father is actually his STEPFATHER...
So it is somewhat possible that snape was his father...
Yes he is black - but he could be half and half

Sorry Occy but she also said that Deans father was killed personally by Lord Voldemort so I don't think that that theory has any relevance to the plot.
I am intrigued that she has said that he does not have a daughter leaving the question open, perhaps if we put a strong rumour about pretty soon she'll pick up on it and confirm or deny or remain silent, when she remains silent we know we've got somewhere!

Why not alien? How would it be too far fetched, I thought it was too far fetched that Luke and Darth were father and son. Yet they are and now we know how they are. I personally would love the idea of Snape being a father and not know about it. It would add more depth to his character.
