:oTRUE..... Standing at the bus stop today,I was miles away, listening to my mp3,when someone touches my arm and asks me for the time,I turn around, look at my watch, then look up and sod me if it isnt Eddie Izzard!!!! :oI could not speak for what seemed like ages, and then he asks me if I know what time the next bus is to the nearest town!!!! :oThen he goes onto to make a decision on whether to get the bus or get a taxi,I am still awe struck, maybe I got this all wrong, maybe this bloke just looks like Eddie, but no,it is THE Eddie, and I am a goner ;D I finally get the courage up to say to him that I know who he is,and that I think he is really cool :-[Yeah, I know, sounded like a right wally...But he was so nice,I mean really nice, and he laughed, said thanks, and then he was gone.... This is the closest to any famous person I have ever been, and this man was close to our Alan,so that is the only connection I have to Alan.... Just had to share,I sound like an excited teenager, but he was very nice to talk to and very nice to look at...

RINGO That was so cool and so randomly bizarre to bump into him at a bus stop!! Eddie Izzard and Alan did a charity sketch for Amnesty International at a big concert thing called We known Where you Live. They reenacted the Monty Python 'Four Yorkshireman' sketch, along with Vic Reeves and another bloke who's name I have forgotten. It was very funny. Alan stepped in at the last minute and was great Claudia has the clip to download at www.britbbitsandclips.comI think I have a pic actually....

He was so nice though,I cant get it out of my head!!!The man was just, well, normal,if you know what I mean..... I have to be honest though,I wish I had asked him what Alan was like to work with, but then again, maybe not,I will just have to keep guessing as to what he is like...And I didnt even ask for an autograph!!!I was just so shell shocked.....

Its probably cool you didn't ask for an autograph, you're 'above' being labelled an auto hunter At least you've had an experience of chatting to a celeb now, so when you see Alan you won't clam up (drifts off to think about my terrible clam moment infront of Alan...... ) AND when you see Alan, you can say "oh hey Al, I was chatting to your mate Eddie the other day" ;D
