Hey all, ;D Well there has been a discussion about having a thread on The doctor we all like to see, (i know i do) so i have decided to start one. Even though here in the UK the present series has come to a sad end there is no need for us not to have one. So Rose is gone and the doctor is now on his own again, and he needs to find a knew assistant! Pick me! I don't know what Series the rest of you all are on so i will try not to spoil anything. I know that Billie Piper and David Tennant are super together and i am sad that it has come to an end . I watched it now and then when Christopher Eccleson was the doctor but David Tennant is the man who got me hooked. I always have like Billie Piper Since she brought out her first song (because we want to) and have had the privilege to win a competition to speak to her. Here is the link to the Website: www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/index.shtmlIt makes me sad when i go to see that final pic, WAAAAAAA! Here are a few pics This is the farewell pic So ask away! What you like what you don't like. Should Billie have left? (no!) Is David Tennant a good Doctor? (blooming yes!!) Enjoy EDIT: Thanks to Giggin for helping me make them smaller, cheers mate. ;D

David Tennant is better than Christopher Eccleston and I loved Doctor Who since I was a kid. I was even born during a Dr Who episode... (explains a lot!) I have met two Drs, one I don't remember and one I have on the show. And my brother was an extra in the first series, so you could say Dr Who is my life.
I cried buckets when Rose left.... I couldn't believe it! I still can't. I loved the chemistry between those two. I really hope they do get to re unite.

I love the doctor, but my heart still lies with chris eccleston, that smile....just sublime... Great show and David is doing a great job,he does remind me though of a young Bill Nighy in the way he acts. Cant wait for the next season....

Before David took over, I was adament Chris Eccleston was a better Dr but now Dave's winning me over, he's just got that little quirkier edge and I think the Dr-Rose relationship worked better between them.
Wish they'd go to more other planets though! Having a Tardis and always landing on earth would be a sickener! Perhaps his new assistant won't have so many ties to home and they can get further out amongst the stars....

Thanks for the link Des, i voted straight away ;D
The Billie/David duo works so much better, like MMichelle said maybe the next assistant wont have so many ties to the earth and we will see more planets.
I love the Doctor!

I love Dr Who this time round - I prefer him landing on Earth. To me if people want aliens watch Star Trek... they are called Space Explorers.
Dr Who though is first and foremost a Time Lord, meaning that his speciality is Time Travel.... and I am a sucker for Time Travel... besides they did go to other planets except we didn't see them, but Rose talked about them.
I can't wait for series 3 although the new assistant will have some big shoes to fill...

Wooooooooo Dr Whoooooooo! ;D What are folks thinking of Martha so far? She's kinda growing on me, slowly, trying not to make too many comparisons to Rose. Enjoyed last weeks ep with Shakespeare and the HP humour

Enjoyed last weeks ep with Shakespeare and the HP humour I am afraid Martha hasn't grown on me yet i think that Rose was such a big character i just can't help but miss her i want her to come back and i think she will one day! I loved sats episode but it has left me wondering what the Face of Bo said to The Doctor: "You are not alone". Does this mean that some other time lord survived? I think i may pop in unitnews' forum i bet they have something to say on the matter

I think i may pop in unitnews' forum i bet they have something to say on the matter I think face of bo was indeed saying there's another time lord (or more) out there, guess we have to wait and see. I also think the way they left Rose i.e. not killing her, she's got a good chance of popping back one day, if Billie Piper wants to. Even though he said they can't go back to her dimension (or whatever it was) I'm sure the Tardis can find a way

Hmmm who knows, I certainly haven't a clue! Although I read today that John Simm, aka Sam Tyler from Life on Mars is playing a baddie in a couple of upcoming episodes, wonder what that's about.... mmmm John Simm, I like

What's everyone thinking of the new series so far? Dare I ask about opinions on Martha? I am a little bit aka rolling of my eyes when I see the clip for the next episode and we're set on earth again. I thought the fun of the TARDIS was going to wacky new worlds not travelling through time to different eras of earth. *mini grumble over*

I *just* "discovered" Dr. Who! I've been laid up with a broken leg and bored, so I finally got around to watching the first season of Who online at Netflix (and 'Flixed season 2 dvds) - and oh my, I just love it! I adore David Tennent, but Chris Eccleston is still my favorite Doctor. ^_^ I haven't seen any of the 3rd series yet, but I can't wait!
I'm rewatching the 1st season - The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances are two of my favorite eps.

Hope your broken leg heal quickly, angie! Oh to have Madam Pomfrey here to grow the broken bit back overnight in a jiffy Winky did you hear David Tennant is doing Hamlet at the RSC in Stratford next year? At the price of no Dr Who in 2009 though! But David and Patrick Stewart in the same play makes me very happy ;D
