Well ladies and germs,we now have confirmation that there is going to be a Harry Potter Theme Park in the States, why we have not got one here in the UK is a big question mark, but hey, good for you chaps who live in the States and can make it there....What do you all think of it,do you think its a good thing or another money making feature for all at WB???

WB can make all the money it wants, as far as I'm concerned. I'm just excited about the park. Orlando is about an hour and a half drive from where I live and I'm figuring on a bus tour. Transportation, admission, two days in the park, overnight accomodations. I'm saving up right now. And I'll be buying out the shops in Hogsmeade.

Me wants to go!!!! seriously it should be built here in the land of Harry Potter!!! I certainly understand why you feel that way. I probably would, too, if I lived in England. But I think that a theme park in Orlando is accessible to more people. Don't forget what a disaster Euro Disney was. I think it's doing better now, but when it first opened, it was a real stinker ... from what I read at the time. (insertdisclaimerhereifI'veinsulted anyone) Never could understand why it wasn't an immediate success. Yes, I'm probably prejudiced considering how close I live to Orlando. But dreams can come true, so start saving up now. You've got nearly three years and you can do a lot of saving in that time.

A theme park about Harry Potter is really cool. I got to Florida every summer, so maybe a little side trip could be in order.

I can't wait for it to open. Lucky that I already live here in Florida, although the only time I went to Orlando was for a field trip to Disney World in my 7th grade year.

I've been to Disney several times, but never to Universal. They didn't say anything about having The Burrow. I hope they do, ghoul in the attic and all.

I've never been to DisneyWorld or Universal, but you can bet I would go for Harry Potter... sounds really interesting (now I sound like Sinclair, lol) and fun.

I've just come back from there and the people working there seem to be very excited about it. I think you know they're creating a replica of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts.. which according to one lady is going to be a hotel. Doubt my salary in a couple years times will stretch that far
