EDIT :: here you go, Sinc - I think you can find the video you're looking for here Bwaha! Thanks a bunch slythy! That video is SO awesome... I think I looked there before but I was.. erm.....distracted by one of those other Snape videos. You know.. the one that goes to that one song by Madonna. "I made through the wilderness..." That song...

Alan is so wonderfull but trying to explain that to a 15 year old girl that i know is hard. I recently got her addicted to harry potter and she is currently reading OotP. I have just lent her PoA on DvD and was explaining to her my favourite bits. Snape Protecting the trio and turn to page 394 ect. She thought i was a bit of a loony and other around me also thought that. i just told her to remember those bits. i think trying to get her Alan obsessed maybe a bit to hard. Bless her she is so cute

Hello everyone. I can finally sit down and talk about Alan. He came in at 84. To me that is good. He was 84 out of all the other men out there. I have a question, when you downloaded In Demand, do you always have in on your computer, or do you have to download it again, and agin?

Sinc, you're very welcome. I watched it again and remembered how brilliant it is. Teehee. Arimab - it depends on whether you saved the file itself... Anyway, I found this article and it made me giggle. It's not really news - people finding Rickman irresistable is nothing new to us... from CONTACTMUSIC.com: KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has hailed her PRIDE AND PREJUDICE co-star MATTHEW MacFAYDEN as perfect for his role as MR DARCY, because he has a handsome ruggedness present in RICHARD BURTON and ALAN RICKMAN.
The 20-year-old actress is thrilled to be starring alongside the English heart-throb, whose rough and ready look is perfect for the country squire.
And she is so impressed with his acting she believes he brings qualities to the arrogant aristocrat even revered author JANE AUSTEN couldn't dream of.
She says, "Matthew's a man who is sexy in the mode of Richard Burton and Alan Rickman. You need to see that kind of rugged beauty in Darcy, to know that here is a man who strides across fields, climbs trees and very much manages his own estate.Rugged beauty. Oh yes indeed. I might disagree with Miss Knightley on many points, but you can't deny she has good taste... (I love paraphrasing HP )

Yo so you got me!
I too think that scene in PoA is foreshadowing. Perhaps in Bk7 he will be eaten with guilt about what he did!
I love Alan AND there ain't noone else!

When i heard of Alan being no 84 in the sexiest men poll in Company i went and bought my copy straight away but made sure that i bought it on my break at work. The reason for this was so i could show everyone at work because they think i am a bit loony with my obsession. I also rubbed it in that Mel Gibson was no. 100 because one of the girls likes him. Ha!
I don't know if they think i am even more loony now because of me parading around with a mag going, NUMBER 84!
Or well ;D

winky I'm glad I'm not the only one who rushed out to by Company just for that tiny pic! I tutted my way through the other 83 people making insulting comments how they shouldn't have been above Alan Alan didn't even make it into the Top 100 sexiest males in a Yahoo poll- some real weirdo's were in that one. Can't find the link, sorry. My other beau's, Kevin Spacey and Patrick Stewart made 94 and 99th. I think it was Johnny Depp at number one...

I was mad at that! It was Brad Pitt who was no. 1, who does nothing for me I'm afraid, i'm not into "pretty boys". Alan is my man. I like William Peterson (sp?) as well he plays Gil Grissom in CSI: Las Vegas. I think he he is along the lines of greatness like our Alan.

I really like William Peterson too (though the beard really doesn't do a whole lot for me). Perhaps I should start another thread though (tryin' to be a good mod and all :-) ). Although, I'd love to see Alan on CSI...

He could play a Cheating husband and his wife gets murdered and he is the prime Suspect, ah i can see it now.

Couldn't he be the bad-tempered but wrongly blamed prime suspect who is being framed by the real culprit... hehe.

He could be whatever he wants to be as long as he is in it with no other accent and no facial hair. He could be new sexy CSI, hmmmm.

He could be new sexy CSI, hmmmm. I'd totally start watching CSI again if that were ever to happen (I'd even watch CSI Miami, which I loath)...

I don't like it as much as Las Vegas but i still watch it, even NY i still watch it because i like that kind of program, always have, murders and stuff. I would be so jumping for joy if Alan got a part as an sexy CSI, he would be ace.

I re watched "In demand" video. every time I walk away a little more smitten Yeah It was one of the sexiest things I have seen in a long time. I liked the way he was touching her hair and then so lightly touching his face to her hair too. that man is so hot.! He said he fancied the girl who was doing that tango with him . She liked him too. Who wouldnt ?.

If you meet him somehwere in a bookstore or on the street, doing his own thing at his own time, would you go up to him, introduce yourself, take some time to chat with him or would you leave him alone ? His time is his time ? I think I'd just just stare, give him a smile, a wave or a wink and be on my way. I dont feel intruding is right. Was he posing nude, I wonder? If I had a professor like that I'd never miss a day of school ! I'd drag myself to school even if I was sick !
