Browsing through britbitsandclips.com ... television page ... and I found the most wonderful thing ... 19 minutes of just Alan doing a soliloquy. It's called Revolutionary Witness: The Preacher. Awesome.

This week marks the two year anniversary where I discovered that I was actually a Rickmaniac.
In celebration, I'm having a Rickmanathon all week.
Lotsa Alan movies! Yay!

Has someone noticed, that the movie-world wants to have Alan young? Col. Brandon is 36 - Alan was 49, when playing the caracter ... Snape is not older than 36 - Alan is 60 now ... Antoine Richis is "under 40 years" - Alan was 59, when he played the role and he plays all these charakters, as if they were made for him only .. What is "age"? is this word mentioned in the dictionnary? ;D AR is without age, so ... (why didn't they take him to play HP? ) (ah, he has not the small size, and no green eyes - ok ... ;D ;D) forgive me, but that's, what I thought this morning, while looking in my mirror - and I thought: me too, I would like to be without age ... - like HIM

Alan as Harry?! LOL Ah, there's a mental image they could use for the next comic relief. I wonder if Alan would be interested in the role, actually. It's not really his kind of part. Not enigmatic enough.

I had a wonderful Alanathon over the weekend. I took the train from NJ to FL (can't fly, doctor's orders) and we ran into major delays. Supposed to arrive Sunday afternoon at 4:30 and arrived Monday morning at 1:30am. Anyway, I had my laptop and three Alan movies (also Hook). So, I watched Blow Dry (also Hook) and Galaxy Quest (of course). I would have watched Goblet of Fire, but I packed the case and didn't realize I left the DVD in the player . Got me through that loooooong Sunday and I didn't even mind being stuck. PS: I forgot to mention all the wonderful downloads I have on my laptop. I listened to all the voice clips and watched a few interviews and my very favorite Alan role ... The Preacher in Revolutionary Witness. That one sends me into meltdown.
