Eeeee! I'm so excited for this weekend. Normally I don't get very excited about weekends (because I work during the weekends, and I hate it). However this weekend is an exception.
My friend, a Rickmaniac, and I are having a belated celebration of Alan's birthday. We shall eat food (of course) and watch as many of Alan's movies as we can. We're not really sure which ones we're going to watch (other than "Sense & Sensibility". That one is a must. I'm also pushing for "Die Hard" and/or "Galaxy Quest"), but does it really matter?

^^ Sounds like fun. I agree, S&S is a must. For me, I'd take Barchester Chronicles, because (except for the first two episodes), there's a lot of Alan and it's several hours long. And my favorite ... Blow Dry.

I just got back from my Rickman-athon. I highly recommend having those.
My friend and I ended up watching "Sense & Sensibility" (of course), "Dark Harbor" (she had never seen it before, and wasn't too impressed with the film), and "Galaxy Quest" (needed some intentional humor).
Right before we started "Dark Harbor" one of our other friends came over (although she lives there, so that makes sense). I have never known her to be a Rickmaniac, so I considered her to be rather neutral. And by the end of the night? A budding Rickmaniac (and she completely missed "Sense & Sensibility", y'all!).
Yay for Rickman-athons!

I am having my own Rickman-athon! I watched Sense and Sensibility, GOF, just watched Blow Dry and next up is Michael Collins. Then I ordered Rasputin from the library and also the Barchester Chronicles. Oh, and I am waiting for my Return Of The Native audio book...help, I have a problem!!! I can't stop!!!
Is there and antidote? Oh, forget it, who wants to stop?? Not me!

He is worth every bit of adoration,so never stop, and I hope that there is never an antidote for it LOL Only if Snape made it of course and then he gave it out LOL
That is one mighty Alan feest you are having.... I have one of those once a month..it has to be done...

Not only does my library carry it, but a local video rental store once did as well. And then I bought the store's copy (for $3!). That was the best day ever...

Um, yeah, I will take that antitode if Snape is giving it!! And only then...
I found a copy of Rasputin on Amazon for way too much money and did I mention I do not have a VCR? Ha, I have to borrow my mother in laws I think. Too funny.
And, oh, I added one to the list, watched Dogma today as well.
So I should have a Rickman-athon once a month then huh? Sounds good to me!
