today I was thinking of Alan when I was doing some laundry... you see I have two black zip shirts similar to the one the man wore at the Snowcake premiere ( and I swear I had BOTH of them before I saw those pics!) anyways, my mom was doing a load of darks and had room for my wool zip. As it was in the laundry room, she added it to her load... without reading the label. - cold water wash, delicate- well now I have only one zip sweater

I was thinking of Alan today when I was remembering my dream last night . . . I had my very first Alan dream! It was very sweet - and definitely a 'G' rated dream (see, I truly am an innocent - lol!). I can't remember much more than the fact that I was meeting him, and there were other people in the room, and he gave me a nice big hug. ;D But I woke up smiling, knowing I had an Alan dream . . . sweet dreams indeed!! What do you mean you're very first Alan dream? You mean you never had them before? I've been dreaming of him since I was eleven! And let me tell you some of my dreams cannot be recountered on a family friendly site!

I was thinking of Alan last night while sleeping. And I see I'm not the only one who dreams of him. I had a fantastic dream, it was almost a detective story. I remember some bad guys that have stolen any secret documents and then Alan, an unknown fat man and I were pursuing them in a big many-storeyed building (I think it's one of symbols of subconscious). We ran upstairs and broke into a door where we discovered two of those malefactors. Alan laughed loudly and exclaimed (as I remember): "Ah! It's a film!" But the bad guys didn't believe and began shooting. We jumped away, only Alan and I (it seems that fat man stayed at the stairway), and, as in a real film, hid behind some boxes which were in the room. Alan was holding a pistol in readiness, looking at it I told him: "It is NOT a film! And if it's still a film then it's not ours! Where is a director??!" He responded me in his marvellous voice: "It is your scenario, isn't it?" Oh! There was some logic in my dream! It was really a scenario my brains invented while I was sleeping.. I remember after Alan's question I was troubling only of my thoughts about a director. Seeing my difficult reflections Alan added: "Who is more principal, director or writer?" When the malefactors have heard his question they stopped shooting and put away their arms. They seemed to have been interested by this question and have begun talking about something taking no notice of me and Alan who was smiling a lot. I was embarrassed by his smile, by this question and the last thing I can remember were my words: "What a film! What are we doing here?" I don't know why but I said it in English! When I opened my eyes I was still thinking of all these questions. Later I spent all my day with an idea in my mind we all are directors and writers at the same time and so we make our own lives. Perhaps, this dream has shown I have to find a balance between my mind (I think, it's a director) and my heart (maybe, it's a writer) because lately I try to put all my feelings and thoughts in order. In other respects I think of Alan at times, but I didn't think of him before sleeping last night. Heh, but I dreamed him all the same.

Wow Rainbow what a dream!
I am constantly thinking of Alan I mean why wouldn't I? He's gorgeous and good looking and wonderful and almost the very first thought I have in the morning is, what is the next Alan film I am going to watch? Am I going to watch it tonight? Tomorrow even? When?

Yeah, I agree with you. Hermione! But I like more the things he tells about him and his work. I like him much as an actor, some days ago I've seen once again "Sense and Sensibility" (it was the first film that made me take notice to Alan Rickman! ), perhaps, that's why I dreamed him. I'd like to say when I've seen "Robin Hood: Princes of Thieves", I've not paid any attention to Alan, maybe I was too young or I had another interests..I don't remember. Many years have already passed since I was so young. But now I like Sheriff of Nottingham... Heh.. What can I say else? I'm thinking of Alan this evening.. And you, Hermione, what film are you still going to watch?

Today, we had a Guitar Studies Spring Recital at college today, after playing some wonderful melodies, they played a traditional Russian Folk Song - you got it! I immediately thought of Alan in Rasputin - wearing the red shirt and dancing. LOL! I am soooo hopeless . . .sigh.

Absolutely nothing has made me think of Alan lately, except for coming on this site and watching his movies. I feel so bereft. (sniff)

Aw Desraelda I feel sorry for you. A Karma to cheer you up.
Radiantlight, Rasputin was a brilliant film but I can't seem to get it on DVD which is really annoying, the red shirt, oh you got me drooling!

Well I was having an AR dream, well no, a Snape dream and I got all mad at my hubby for his alarm going off and waking me out of it!! LOL...the nerve!! Anyway, at the time I thought I should write it down to remember but now I can not...grr. All I remember was that it was of death and Snape...(death is a dream of change...most of the time)

Hmm.. Me too, I believe. In any case it's difficult to me to imagine how it would be possible to think of someone all the time if only not being in love. And I don't speak about a passion either, to tell the truth I'm not quite sure the superfluous obsession is a good thing. Naturally I mean absolutely mad fans that annoy very much to their favourite star.

Aw Desraelda I feel sorry for you. A Karma to cheer you up. Awwww ... how sweet of you. I feel better now. You can only get it on DVD in Region 2. I had to get in Region 1 on VHS and used at that on e-bay. But it was worth it. The red shirt scene is definitely drool-worthy.

I saw today a very nice looking guy driving a car just like the one in the Indemand video at college today. Too bad Alan wasn't driving it! Now I have Alan on the brain . . . (since when is that new?) LOL!

Oh well Rainbow I am an obsessive, though some of his films I can live with out thank goodness he is a prolific and very talented guy!
I think I wrote to him once and said that Dogma offended me... I am not sure? It was a few years back before they started filming GoF.
I think about Alan all the time especially as I write a lot of Snape fics I am telling you that doesn't help!

I'm watching BBC America and they talked about the Keighley Playhouse in Yorkshire. Naturally I thought of Alan in Blow Dry.

I can't say I like all Alan's films I've seen but I do love him as an actor. I admire his talent, his play, all shades of feelings he can express. What a difference is between Snape and Harry ("Love Actually") or Mesmer! Why did Dogma offend you, Hermione? Did you receive any answer? Hmmm.. Perhaps, it is good you find an inspiration in your obsession. Petrarca was obsessed by Laura not having relations with her, but what a legacy of his poetry we have!
