Billywiggy - I have watched the third Die Hard movie last night, and Jeremy Irons was as good as Alan Rickman, the second one was a little silly but I thought the third one was almost as good, and Jeremy Irons in the blue vest, yummy! Also the added bonus of Samuel L Jackson, double wammy!

;D Love the clicking and grunting statement! Just like Giggin, my imagination is hard at work over this! LOL! Alan is so deliciously suave and evil as Hans!

I watched this movie this afternoon for the first time since it came out. It was just an excuse for Bruce Willis to run around without a shirt. As Dr. Lazarus said in Galaxy Quest ... I see you've managed to get your shirt off. Although it was at least a decent action movie and was ground breaking at the time it came out.
Alan was, of course, excellent and his character was a treat to watch. I did enjoy the scene where the vault opened ... Alan's expression, the lighting, the music. Kind of fun.
I also enjoyed watching Alexander Godunov running around (a former ballet dancer so he's very graceful) with his long blonde hair.
But if it wasn't for Alan in this movie, I wouldn't have watched it and probably won't watch it again.

Better? ? He made it fantastic without Alan I would not have even been interested but as it was Alan... well.... ah.... um.... you guys know. 'I have a machine gun now ho! ho! ho!' That is my favourite bit.

And I love the way he says it, "Ho - Ho - Ho. . ." That man can speak volumes with those pregnant pauses of his when he talks. . . *sigh*

OK, so I purchased this one a few months back on vacation. It was on sale and on my list of Alan-must haves. I finally got to watch it today. It was good, the parts Alan were in. I love the way he changed his accent! Real cool! Definitely glad I watched it, but not one of my favorites because Alan isn't in it enough for me. Plus, its not my kind of movie. I would definitely want to see Bruce in a film over Kevin, though. Bruce and Alan's scenes seemed more relaxed than in when he was in RH with Kevin. Just my opinion though.

Oh yeah Bruce beats Kevin Costner hands down, I love Bruce Willis, sorry but I do! But I haven't watched this film in a while perhaps soon.

I agree with you Irishemerald, the scenes with Alan and Bruce did give me the overall impression of them being more at ease with each other than Alan and 'what's-his-face'. O.K., I know calling him (what's-his-face) sounds petty, but it beats calling him a dirty name . . . Perhaps I should start calling him 'He who must not be mentioned' . . .

Costner doesn't have the talent Bruces has. I liked the chemistry between Bruce and Alan, you can easily see that they loved working together, and they have mutural respect for eachother. This movie is definatly one of the classic Alan films, I never get tired of it. Alan was born to portray an evil terrorist. ;D

Alan was born to portray an evil terrorist. ;D Alan may be an evil terrorist, but he is definitely a suave and debonair evil terrorist. He even murdered with a certain flair.

Sad note to report: Paul Gleason, the actor who portrayed the police chief Dwayne Robinson, died Sunday May 28, from mesothelioma, a form of lung cancer.
