I'm in Ohio. As a former Air Force Brat, I've lived all over the US (though not as much as some military folk).

I've only lived in Minnesota and have traveled to Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illonois. Travel much? lol. I really want to travel, though, and "see the world". I especially want to go to New York City, England, France, Scotland, Ireland, Italy, California ,lots of places.

Oooh, I know what you mean. I would love to travel. I visited Washington DC over spring break, and I loved it (well, the trip? Not so much, but that has a lot to do with my travel companions. Needless to say, I won't make that mistake again).
My parents actually lived in England before I was born (my dad was stationed there). They tell me that I would enjoy it there. A friend of mine from my work actually is going to graduate school in London, and has told me that I *must* visit her there (and go to London when the 7th book is released)...

I am also beside the seaside, just the cold North Sea, near Newcastle, England. I'd rather be living in London, can't help myself with the city, I just love visiting it. EmmyMik You should definitely come visit your friend in London when there is a Harry Potter premiere

Oohh, I so want to go to London, too, and go to a Harry Potter premiere! That would be so much fun!
*gets an image of all of us sitting together for the premiere of the GoF and squealing every time Snape comes on screen* ;D

I live in California. Born and raised some 40 miles from San Francisco and 426 miles from Los Angeles (My mom would kill me if I gave out my exact address ). Sometimes I pride myself with the fact that Alan was once 400 miles away from me. And yes, I do say 'Dude' almost every minute of almost every day, but I don't really like surfing. What most people call 'surfing,' I call 'trying to stay alive.' Cowabunga?

I'd love to go to London someday. I'm currently saving up for the 2012 Olympics (I *love* the Olympic games), and possibly the release of Book 7 (plus I have a few other trips in the works, but those are to such mystical places as Canada and Nebraska). I knew I should have majored in something like International Business so that I could have an excuss to travel (Early Childhood Education? Not so much)...

I'm thinking of majoring in music (piano) and english/creative writing. I think by majoring in these fields (especially music) I have a good excuse to travel.

Ooh, I'm thinking of getting some friends together and going to the GoF premiere too, especially after I had so much fun at the HHGTTG premiere a few months ago ... hopefully AR will turn up to this one!

I am definitely going to the GoF premiere in November! I have even bought the camping stool for the occasion so I don't have to stand for 10 hours again ;D Perhaps we should start a GOF Premiere thread, I fear this one might digress from 'location'?

Like many of you, I too am surrounded by some body of water. In my case, the Atlantic Ocean. I live in South Florida, only a few miles from Miami. And as you can see by reading my "Location," I absolutely love it here. *rolls eyes*
I've never left the country. I have gone to Tennessee and Kentucky. My sister was in the military; she was stationed in Ft. Campbell, KY for awhile. 101st Airborne Division!
Oh but I would love to go to Europe; go to England, France, and Italy. My sister and my mom say South Korea is beautiful. (My sister was also stationed there, where she met her husband)

I'm from *sigh* Iowa; where it's hot, humid, and far from heaven. When I was younger, my family and I lived out in Colorado. I've been recently plotting to move to Chicago (eventually), where they have more in the way of possiblities with Theatre! And less things to make me sneeze!

Hey, I have a friend who lives in Sussex! You don't know a 'Katy' by any chance, do you? I'm from *sigh* Iowa; where it's hot, humid, and far from heaven. When I was younger, my family and I lived out in Colorado. I've been recently plotting to move to Chicago (eventually), where they have more in the way of possiblities with Theatre! And less things to make me sneeze! I live in your neighbor state, Minnesota. I recently was in Iowa to visit a college. It was a pretty nice college actually. Anyways, I love Chicago! I went there on a choir trip this spring and it was so much fun. I definitly want to go back. *sigh* If only I had been in Chicago when they had the showing of GoF. Anyway, I advise yu guys to check out the Blue Man Group if you're in Chicago (I'm not sure if they tour but I think they might). I saw them and they were so hilarious!
