This movie (finally got it!) was incredible! I cried It is one of the best Alan movies I have ever seen...wow. The Spanish poem made me cry...the singing made me laugh...Alan playing the cello was absolutely beautiful.

I watched this one after watching S&S last night. I don't know why I put it in. I knew I was going to cry thoroughout the movie. What was I thinking? Well...I made it through and...my favorite spot once again got me so bad. Alan does such a great job there. He does a quiver lip just before it and I just lost it. He is so good! How does he do it? If you have the movie..you need to fast forward to that part and watch for the quiver lip just before he asks "do you want me to go?" You know the part when they are on the floor? The one that I described in my earlier post. He does it so perfectly. How can you not cry at that moment? Great Movie ! He does do that so perfectly! I also love the ending where he is looking out the window watching Nina and he wipes away the tear! *sob* Soooo wonderful!

I watched it again last night, and as usual i cried like a baby. I just dont know what Nina sees in Mark when she has Jamie!! Ok Mark is alive and Jamie dead but STILL!!! I love him singing and the way he jumps over to Nina to play the duet on the piano is just yummy!

^^I agree . . . Mark is creepy! I want to take Nina's hand and pull her away from him, screaming 'Get away from that strange man!' Honestly - if they wanted to show Nina 'tempted' by a man who is alive . . . at least make the man interesting and likable - not creepy and pushy.

I cried my eyes out with this one.The next day at work people asked me if something was wrong with me because they could see that I seriously had been crying. When I said I'd watched a film the night before they all gave me a strange look.Still get a tear in my eye when I watch it.

I always cry with this film, but I also smile when Alan and Nina are singing in her flat. Gods, he's gorgeous, I even like the mustache.

While checking out EW's 50 Best Tearjerkers Ever, I came across #47 - Truly, Madly, Deeply!50 - Rudy 49 - The Shawshank Redemption 48 - Cinema Paradiso 47 - Moulin Rouge 46 - Million Dollar Baby (There's a nice picture there, too!) It's been quite a while since I've seen it... I don't know that I can handle it emotionally right now! Tear leakage and sniffles are not uncommon for me when watching [good] movies, but I remember just almost bawling when I watched TMD before... ^_~

As much as I do love this film, mustache and short trousers included, I have to stay away from it! I can barely get to the end of the first scene and the tears are there! Good movie if I'm already a bit down and I can share my tears with Nina Can't believe its 16 years old now though, time just flies.

I have owned this movie forever, but I've not watched it for ages. Watched it last night and love it more than ever. Cried my eyes out as always - I'll never get used to Nina moving on. Never!!! Such a sad case am I!

I watched the movie last week. It is an incredible movie. I loved the scene where they watch the clouds and at the end when they al are waving her goodbye. I felt sad for Titus.
