What...you mean your password isn't Alan, Rickman, Severus, or Snape ;D? LOL! Er... no ;D Thanks for your help, Mandy. the problem was that I couldn't access even this information about closed forum and about sending me my password what was displayed on the screen was a comment: this page cannot be displayed. It wasn't a mugglenet site.

The Mugglenet forums were working a few moments ago for me...but it's been several hours since you posted here, giggin. Man, but we're in trouble over there! I saw that right when I got there. I went to the thread and found that the moderators were having an outright fit. I certainly thought we were staying on topic, and actually thought Cathairetic came up with and excellent idea starting that creative add on Alan/Snape story. How much more discriptive of the character can you get? I'll be appreciating our man here from now on...thank you very much ! Sorry to feel so down about it, but that's just how I feel ! Can someone try to change my mind...go gentle please!

I didn't think we were straying off topic either! I mean, version one, we would occasionally go off on other Alan tangents, and sometimes into droolfest territory, with nary a glance. Well, maybe once or twice in 1500 posts. Maybe the mods were just looking to make a point or something. Or having a bad day. Go figure. Of course, the mods here love us. And Alan, in all his roles. I don't know if I will be posting in that thread over there as frequently... *shrugs* On another topic--is the moon full or something? I swear we got all the nutters in the pharmacy today. We close at 3 on Saturdays, right? Lights off, closed sign on door, it's ten after and the delivery boy's returned and we're checking in his delivery money. Didn't lock both doors, just one, we thought we'd be out momentarily. In walks a customer--"Hey, it's dark in here" "We're closed." "Oh." Pause "Can you deliver this tomorrow?" Of course, we say we can. Then she points out the door wasn't locked, so she thought we were still open. How many people go into a dark store with a "closed" sign on the door and expect it to be open??? Grrr.

This reminds me of a parent once on Parent/Teacher night, when I had the lights out and the door ready to close, and a parent comes up and says, is there still time to discuss my son's progress? Uh...It's time to go home! Parent/Teacher night is over! 8:30pm is long past and my lights are out "Mister What's It"! O.K.... That's what I was thinking... I actually said... "I'm sorry, I don't have the information on your son in front of me Sir. You will need to come back on Wednesday during our next Parent/Teacher night."
Really, did my office seem that inviting with the lights off and my door closing? Come on!!!!

Without you guys posting I'd have no one to boss about *ahem* I mean moderate ;D I must have missed all the fuss as COS Forum..? I rarely post there anymore, I'd rather talk about Alan in all our various threads then having to pluck something together about Alan as Snape, quite limiting. Maybe they are trying to save on server space or something. I don't think I'll ever forget my telling off and "probation" period I was put on because my signature pic was a tiny bit bigger then the rules

I don't think I'll ever forget my telling off and "probation" period I was put on because my signature pic was a tiny bit bigger then the rules I'd imagine that's what their doing. I'm sure that with the recent release of the GoF movie, there are more members and more conversations, which takes up a lot of space (I haven't visited the CoS forums in ages). And limiting the Alan talk to, "OMG! Alan is the best Snape EVER. I really liked it when Snape [insert Snape moment that has already been discussed 400 times]. I can't wait to see [Instert future Snape moment that has been discussed 500 times]!" makes it very boring (thus cutting down on bandwith).

Heehee...that's funny EmmyMik! That's exactly what I thought. How many times can you say Alan Rickman is the perfect Snape? Over and over . Can't we talk about the man and his other perfections ! Anyway...I wanted to say...check out what I just posted there tonight. I know...I said I didn't want to post there anymore, but I am trying to post there kind of to SPITE them *kindly of course*(I'm too kin natured) and to keep Ringo and others company, and...well I adore the guy,...what can I say . I just cross my fingers that I don't say something the Mods disagree with, in hopes that they don't give me a warning ! (anyway, I don't know how I managed to double post) , *shakes head in confusion* but anyway...I think it was different what I posted ...so go check it out!!! ;D

I've reached my breaking point. Now I really don't monitor what I say. I kind of just let my inner voice become my outer voice. Do you work here?**looks down** That's what the shirt says. Where are your restrooms?See that sign that says "Restrooms"? I'd wager in that area. How much is this?**silently picks up the product, locates the price tag, and hands it back with a glare that says, "You better not pay for that here unless you want a pocket full of nickles."** Yeah, customer service really isn't my forte...

Hi, guys! I just went over to Mugglenet CoS and - yipes - I've been demoted or something! I went from a second year to a first year with like 85 posts. Huh?? Oh well, I'm not there as much anyway. I agree - it's far more freeing to talk all about Alan here, including himself as Severus Snape; as opposed to strictly Alan as Snape and nothing else. But it's nice to see there's still a lot of interest over there in Himself - and we're on V2 of the thread.

But it's nice to see there's still a lot of interest over there in Himself - and we're on V2 of the thread. First of all...Actingangie..I really like your Avatar ;D. It is as cute as a button! Second...I also had a problem with my post count in CoS. I was about 5 posts away from becoming a second year and all of a sudden my post count became 19 . That was so strange. I guess I'll never become a second year! Someone had mentioned that the reason was, because they may have closed a thread that I had posted all those posts in ! Well...they did closed the Alan as Snape thread to start the new version, so that may be the reason! Anyway...just thought I would pass that onto you! That could be the reason you were demoted and lost your post count too ! Warning...a loooooooong story of my day ahead! Sorry for the long story ...I had a wild ride (literally)! SNOW!!!!!!!! I love it, but I can't stand driving in it!!!!! On Wednesday Night...the weatherman said...expect 10 or more inches of snow on Friday. As a teacher you think "hurray, no school ", especially because you don't want to drive in it. Thursday night, the weatherman says...expect 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow, then it will turn to rain around noon! Drats...that means there will be school ...No three day weekend...oh well...go to school, suck it up like the rest of the world right? Well...you would think so wouldn't you?... Nope.... The day started off with light snow that had been falling for at least 4-5 hours (1-3 inches accumulated already)...my husband and I shoveled the truck out this morning while warming it up...digging it out so I can make my escape to school. I left a half hour early, so that I could drive half the speed as normal...which worked out perfectly, because I was only 10 minutes late (which was fine - it was only before school prep time that I had missed - besides, most of the buses were late). The snow had not let up...as a matter of fact...it was snowing harder and harder the more time went on. I thought to myself "I am going to be driving home in a big mess !" I taught my morning classes at the elementary school and prepared to drive to the high school. The snow was coming down even harder. I wondered if they would just let school out early so we could get home safely (but it is an issue when sending kids home to empty houses - with parents at work and all). Anyway...I'm on my way to the High School and my truck is slipping and sliding all over the road. I drive very slowly and carefully, but it doesn't matter, the roads are pure ice, and just making a turn makes the rear of the truck slide! I handled the truck very well and made it to the High School without killing myself or anyone else; howerver, I did have a close call on the way...I managed to dodge a car that went out of control and instead nearly hit a telephone pole right in front of me! It's crazy... when the roads are like this, there is nothing you can do once your car starts sliding. You can apply the brakes, but nothing happens. That car almost hit my truck, but thank goodness it didn't. I was looking at it coming closer and closer and I just thought to myself "that car is going to hit my truck and there is nothing I can do about it right now...I can't even move out of the way" I knew that there wasn't anything the car could do about it either ! Anyway...good thing that didn't happen! Close call that one! My heart was pumping too fast for being only 11:30am! Well anyway...sure enough the weatherman was right about the rain. It did start about noon. I couldn't believe he was right about that. It was snowing extremely hard for it to become rain at any point. So...I had lunch and taught my classes at the High School. At 2:30pm when the bell rang...we got an emergency call on the intercom from the principal..."Attention all students and staff...there will be no late buses today and no after school activities...please vacate the building as soon as possible and drive safely." My first thought was..."that was weird ...it's only raining...it's not that bad outside." I took a glance out the window and I could only see WHITE!!!! ! A major BLIZZARD just hit our area! I closed everything down, locked all the doors, and left the building at 3:00pm. I live a half hour away from my school. It took me two and hours hours to get home . My adventure driving home was so scary. I had to climb out of my truck a few time in the middle of the road to get myself unstuck from the side of the road. Everyone else had the same problem. My tires kept freezing and spinning out. I almost took out two mail boxes and I drove off the road two times. The fastest I drove was 15 miles per hour on the freeway portion of the road. There were so many spin outs it was incredible. I can't believe they didn't call a snow day. I'm just glad I didn't get stuck on the road like a lot of people did. There were poeple who couldn't get there cars out of ditches and couldn't get there car to drive up the hill, so they would just sit there in the middle of the road spinning there tires trying to free themselves. It was mayhem trying to dodge most of these cars from swaying or sliding into to the side of you. For two hours I was dodging cars and trucks to get myself home safely. Phew..I made it. The truck is safe, and I am safe and sound at home...IThere were quite a few downed telephone wires, and trees that had fallen in the road that I had to drive around and avoid. So..now you know the whole story of my Friday that should have been a snow day, but wasn't a snow day . Wow...I should write a book !!! Now I'll go to the movie thread and tell you what movie I watched tonight...it's not as interesting though !

Dear Lord giggin! I'm glad you made it home safely! *big hug* I see all those people stuck in the roads out in Texas, and out east, and strangely, I'm very glad it doesn't snow down here much. But the Canadians can take their supercold air back, please. Your husband got to stay safely at home today, I hope?
ps-thanks for the point the other day!

My family has this inflatable polar bear outside of our house (in front of the living room window), and today we saw what happens when you have too much snow on it as its inflating. I had to go outside and take the snow off of it twice. We all got a good chuckle out of it.

Warning...a loooooooong story of my day ahead! Sorry for the long story ...I had a wild ride (literally)! OMG, giggin, I'm so glad you're OK! I'll bet you missed living in California today! I can't even imagine trying to drive in that kind of weather . . . um, yeah, no thanks! The closest I got was having to ride my bike through a snow storm back when I was living in Germany. I've never been so cold in my life. I looked like a snowman by the time I made it back to my dorm room ;D I don't ever want to be behind the wheel in weather like that. It's so crazy to watch the weather on the news - the entire country is in 'the blue' . . . brrrr! I'm glad you're safe and warm now, giggin! Oh - and actingangie - sorry to hear about your demotion on the CoS Forums . . . that does happen when they remove threads, unfortunately. But the good news is that cathairetic created a new thread in the Leaky Cauldron where we can now talk about Alan in other roles besides Snape. So - now you have twice as many places to post, and can get your post count back up.

Thank's Billywiggy...for a moment there, I did miss California, especially the part when the blizzard was hitting me in face so hard, while I was checking the tires, after they were spinning in place, stuck on an ice patch on the road, making the truck slide to the side of the road into a ditch! Yeah...I guess you can say I was certainly missing California for a moment there Your story sounded pretty frightening on your bike ! Brrrr! Thank you cissy *sigh*

I don't know if I am the only one here who watches survivor , but I am so glad Steph didn't win! does anyone enjoy any reality tv? I hate shows like fear factor, but I am addicted to survivor.

I haven't watched Survivor since Pearl Islands (one of, if not the, best season of Survivor), so I missed last night's finale. However, I just *love* reality tv. I don't care much for the likes of Fear Factor, but I'm all about The Amazing Race (not so much for the Family Edition, but I am cheering for the Linz family, as they are from Cincinnati)...

Survivor had a great season this time around (and will probably have a great season next season with "Exile Island"). I would have been happy with any of the final four winning. I'm also a fan of Amazing Race (go Linzes or Bransens) and Big Brother.

Big Brother is my Summer Guilty Pleasure. Summer doesn't officially begin until Big Brother starts. And then for about four weeks or so I'm all about Big Brother. And then the evil group takes over and starts to win everything and I wonder why I even like that show and give up... until the next summer.
