Hi! I'm Yun. I'm a doctor. However, I actually gave up my career 7 years ago because of my kids. My family flew to Toronto last August from South Korea, so my English is poor. In my country, I could hardly find my favorite Alan's movies . Nowadays, I spend much time buying and seeing Alan's movies in Toronto. I will try to possess whole Alan's movies till I go back my country(<-- looks like a sort of obsessive-compulsive patient). Unfortunately, many Alan's movies don't have English subtitles .

Of course, I saw "Something the Lord Made"(I bought the DVD last year). I really love Alan in this film. I don't know how to upload something in this board. It's my favorite Alan.

Welcome to ARAS Yun! I'm a full time student and a full time mom, with my own graphics business. I love art, music and Alan Rickman - not necessarily in the order!

I got a job you guys! I'm working at my school during the summer, not for community service hours, but for real pay! I'm so happy. LOL. Can you tell?
Anyway, I'm helping out the Head of the Math Dept. and Testing Dept. (that always reminds me of the Heads of Houses) and she actually gives work. *sigh* But it's all good because I helped her throughout the school year so I know how she operates.

Hmmm, you want to know what I do.....
I'm a vendor operations specialist for ATM Corporation of America. What is that you ask? Let me try to explain.
I get to work around 1pm and sit at a computer and I call notaries and attorneys to do witness closings for home loans. A typical call goes like this:
Me: Hello, may I please speak to Alan? (random name there LOL) Notary: Yeah, this is Alan. Me: Hiya Alan, this is Noko from ATM, how are you? Notary: I'm fine Noko, how are you? Me: Fine, I was just wondering if you could do a closing for me on (insert date here) in (insert city here). Notary: Yeah, I can do that. (or) No, I can't do that, I'm booked solid. Me (if yes): Great! What's your fee. Notary: (insert amount here, if more than $45 go to next step) Me: Well, I'll have to see if I can get that approved, I'll call you as soon as I know ok? Notary: *hangs up* Me: Are you on *****? $100 to go down the street a bit?

Recently I was promoted at my job in the gift shop. I was a lowly minion, and now I'm the assistant manager. I kind of regret the decision (or at least I was too hasty in making my choice and I felt like I really didn't have much of an option). I have to be at the gift shop more, which cuts down on my availability to sub (and since teaching is my chosen career path and so forth). I'm also considering getting started on my Master's, so that's just more strain on what little free time I'm going to have.
I'm taking over for my friend (the former assistant manager) who has also been promoted (and she regrets her decision as well. So we're both freaking out together, which is a good bonding experience, I guess).
Now I have to put in longer hours (boooooo), and all of this learning stuff and remembering has drained my energy (thank goodness for coffee) (and also, that's why I haven't been around much lately). At least I'm getting paid more.

I can sympathise, EmmyMik. I started my job as a minion on a casual contract and 10 months later I was permanent and had temporary promotion to the next grade up! (which technically is as a 'section manager' but I had no section, then we I did get staff I was expected to know what to do because technically I had been a 'section manager' for 2 years but I had zero experience!). So almost four years later I have a cosy job not doing what I want to do with my life but now a bit scared to give it all up and take a chance on something else But the lure of my big pay cheque keeps me there... how sad and greedy of me. Rant over now

I'm a stay at home, homeschooling, fun loving, web-designing, story writing, art drawing, movie-going and all around well rounded kind of job type deal.
It keeps me busy-what can I say?
