Have any of you ever worn out a DVD? Well, I think I wore out my GQ DVD. I get wavy lines in some scenes. Have to buy another one. Maybe I should get two or three just to have backup.

Des...make sure you haven't worn out your DVD player first ! Try limiting your Alan movies to two or three a day....four or more a day might just be too much for your DVD player to handle ! *Faint*

That is pretty funny there, Des. Good thing it wasn't Sense & Sensibility that you've overwatched, or the DVD might have melted in the player! ;D

I don't think you could wear out a DVD but I suppose nothing lasts forever, I haven't had one flake out on me yet!
'I won't say that stupid line one more time!'

lol Des and billywiggy, thanks for the karma points ! I will most certainly share them with my hubby ! I wanted to tell you about two other Easter eggs...I am cracking up so hard about this one easter egg ;D! I can hardly even type ! Hahahahaha...if you start the movie, then press the audio button on the dvd remote and keep pressing it, you will be able to hear the whole movie in alien language ;D! Just keep pressing the button until the alien language begins LOL! Oh man...it is so funny! You couldn't possibly watch the whole thing that way, because you'd probably go nuts, but oh my goodness it is soooooooooo hillarious ! I haven't tried the third one, but if you want to try it...here are the instructions. By the way..these are all posted by Sean Sooter on www.dvdeastereggs.com (to give him credit for finding these awesome easter eggs)! Here are his instructions, word for word, for easter egg number three: Omega 13 Explosion submitted by Sean Sooter The main menu has an omega 13 option to which access is denied but if you first watch the movie and then select it the omega 13 will explode, implode, play the main menu sequence in reverse, and replay the sequence bringing you back to where you started.

Had a reunion with friends I hadn't seen in several years. When I mentioned how much I love AR, he said, Oh, then you must have seen Galaxy Quest. (Just hearing the name of this movie brings giggles.)
So I turned them on to the GQ 20 Year Special, which they hadn't seen before.
And, I've now watched GQ twice since they left town. Just finished watching the deleted scenes.

Sorry to show my ignorance, but is that an extra with the DVD? And is this just available in the US? I haven't heard of that before

Go to britbitsandclips.com, which is Alan Rickman Download Haven. You can get it there. Well worth the time to download. It's almost as funny as the movie. I've got it on my desktop.
Enjoy!!!!
