I loved this movie. It's a really funny movie. It was only the 2nd time I had seen Rickman play a comedic role.

I remember seeing this when I was eight (but I didn't know who Alan Rickman was at the time though.)
My favorite part:
"He has saved us.."
(Alex walks in arms up and ready to accept the praise)
"He has saved us! ... Commander Taggart has saved us!"
Alex: "It's just not fair.."

My favorite quote of his in the movie is when they see those weird aliens...
Alex: Could they be the miners? Fred: Sure, they're like three years old. Alex: MINERS, not MINORS.
LOL.

LOL there are sooooo many good Dr Lazarus lines, delivered to perfection as always. Its a shame they cut so many other scenes of his too, at least they made it to the dvd. The one where Kwellik (no idea how to spell his name so went for phonetics! ) shows Lazarus to his room...the look he gives Kwellik when he shows him his bed and bathroom! Alan often doesn't need words to convey the meaning ;D

I put this film on when I feel really cheesed off,and it always perks me up,I love the whole cast and the script is great,I think that Alan does a wonderful job and even though he has that nasty rubber on his head,he still looks rather good.... I love the part when all the autograph hunters are repeating his words, the look he gives them is priceless, just gutbustingly funny...

I loved this movie! I love Alan in more comedic roles and this is one of his best. There where so many so may lines which had me in stiches, which many of you have commented on.
"You broke the bloody ship!" i love that one.
Also the minor joke had me in stiches as many others. It was just a lovely film whick i give a 5/5 and Alan is just so wonderful.
I am just thinking it will be wierd watching Snow Cake with Alan and Sigourney in because of the difference in films.

Someone already got there before me but my favourite line was when they suffered their first attack and she asks
Alex where are you going?
I'm off to see if there's a pub!
Or there's
I was an actor once!
Or there's
By Grabthas Hammer..... what a saving!
Just the way he says those lines makes me fall about in hysterics!
Oh by the way can anyone tell me what Gilligans Island is all about?

I also like the scene at the beginning when he is complaining and that he played Richard the 3rd? I love Alan so much in this film.
I definatly prefer it to Blow Dry.

Tony Shalhoub is great. He is good in Monk. But Alan is better. Both Tony Shalhoub and Sam Rockwell are amazing in this movie as well. They almost are as good as Alan . . . but not quite. I think I laugh everytime he opens his mouth in the movie - and sometimes just looking at his expressions. Too much . . . I also love the line "Just like mother used to make" when he's looking down at his crawly bug dinner.

Watched Galaxy Quest the other night. Can you guys imagine Snape being exactly like Alex at the convention signings at the beginning of the film?
Especially the look he gives all his fans who dress up like him. I mean come on the sarcastic, impatient 'Next' he says is hilarious.
And what line would Snape hate to say one more time? H'mm.
'People might think you are up to something!'
What was really funny was the fact that as I was watching it my brother asked where one of my mothers many catalogues was and she said it was 'on top of the green thingy' which had me in absolute stitchies! None of my family knew I was watching it either!
