Hehe, I'm 28, a dark-haired, grey-eyed girl, rather slim, a mixture of Snape/Harry/Dumbledore/Luna/Ginny and Lupin, a Latin teacher, writing a fanfiction about Snape and Lily in the meantime, listening to music and reading books... |

It was suggested I introduce myself - so um - here goes...
Some of you know me from various places Im sure - but at any rate - Im Occy - Im 27 - my IQ is a little more than that *g* - I am for all intents and purposes Australian
I am an English and History teacher (secondary) - currently looking for a job (have an interview tomorrow for an English position in the country. I hope to work here for a year or so then go the UK and work there for a good long time.
Realised that Ive been an AR fan longer than I figured - must be 10 years now though I wasnt a big fan till the HP movies started then I saw some movies including An Awfully Big Adventure which I quite enjoyed from the point of view that it is an interesting movie.
I have 2 dogs, 5 goldfish and 2 siamese fighting fish and I run a dog rescue here in Aus.
Any questions?

welcome....
so are your dogs rescues? we had a "recycled dog" once. not for long. got her from a kennel owned by a lady in her 80's who often forgot to feed her 70+animals. when we got her she was like cardboard, flat and only visible from the side. got her fattened up and then a nice family with kids adopted her. that was hard . I'm glad there are people like you out there to take care of the ones who need rescuing!

one is a rescue the other from a breeder - and then i get a third one occassionally to rehab and rehome |

Warm welcome to occy! I had a siamese fighting fish not too long ago . . . Mr. Jennings . . . he's passed on now. I love watching fish swim around - they're so beautiful. Can't pet 'em though ;D

Hi. I'm Mona, I'm 26 and I come from Norway. I've been an Alan fan for quite some time now...
I'm just about to finish my master's degree in special eduacation, and I hope to get a job as a special ed teacher either in elementary school or in social services. Apart from my studies, I work part time at a retirement home. In my spear time I like watching movies, excersising, reading books and realxing. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan.
I am a huge Alan fan and some of my favorite Alan movies are Sense and Sensebility, Robin Hood, Die Hard, Love Actually and of course the Harry Potter movies.
My friends think I'm crazy to be so obsessed with a guy older than my dad, so I hope to meet some other Alan fans on here...
