>:(I just want to see the dark mark scene and I will be very happy, but you know what?I have a very nasty feeling that this scene will not be in the film...I dont know why,but I get a funny feeling that they will short out on the ending, and that will really cheese me off

I love mad eye in the book he is such a classic character allthough he was an imposter he did act like the real Moody. The bit i love so much is where Draco is turned into a ferret! It better be in the film! or there will be war

GoF is my favorite book of the series so far. I just love the Triwizard Tournament and everything else in the book. I consider it the turning point book of the HP series because it's when Voldemort comes back. It also clearly shows what he is capable of doing without a second thought (killing Cedric). It's the start of the books getting darker and more intense. For these and many other things, I love the book. I haven't read it for a long time though, so am thinking of re-reading the books. I should do that before school starts.

I was so sad for Haryy at the end of this book, I actually cried. Thisis my favorite of all the books, as I can pickit up anywhere and know where I am, I can flip to any mood I feel like definately my most re-read

I cried, too, at the end of this book (and also at the end of OoTP and HBP as well! Actually it was more like uncontrollably sobbing for HBP ) when Cedric was killed. I kind of liked his character from what I remember when reading the book(I really have to reread GoF again!). Little did I know how much darker and more tragic the books would become.

My manager at work is currently reading this book (actually, she's thisclose to finishing it). She hasn't read any of the books before, so she'd come up to me with her theories about what will happen next.
Although I seriously had to bite my tounge when she told me, "Snape wouldn't do anything against Dumbledore's wishes. He trusts him so much." :-)

I am so upset No Dobby and Winky in the film! How many Characters are they going to cut out!? No Mrs Weasley, Percy, Ludo bagman. It's insane! I think the last one should be called Harry Potter and the Disappearance of all the characters in the films! Er maybe not

Winky22,I am sure there are some other characters in GofF that you wish were not in the film right!!!! No not really, i like them all and i love to hate the ones i hate too. I just don't like seeing the books i like ripped to shreds and bits added in. Thats the worse for me the added in bits, i think aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh thats not in the dam film! I loved Winky (can you guess) I never thought they would cut them out of the film and the Dursleys! That is one of my favorite dursley moments when Dudleys tongue grew i was looking forward to that humored bit. OK so Ludo Bagman I'm not so miffed about. On a nice not one of my Younger work colleague wants to audition for Luna in OotP. She is doing Drama at school but hasn't had any experience but my fingers are crosses. I know mugglenet has said something about auditioning but i wasn't sure if they already have their Luna? I know she'd be great though.

Seeing the movie made me appreciate how fab the book is; the complex plot, not knowing what was going on and who dunnit! As much as I love the movies and love seeing Alan on screen, I think I still prefer reading the books and having imaginary Alan in my head as I read

I went with four people to the movie on Saturday, all of whom did not read the book ! Arrgg! They have no idea what they are missing. I had to explain quite a bit to them after the movie was finished ! The dementors were a bit unexplained in the movie. They were kind of just thrown in. They were confused with why Crouch was found dead, etc... ! Anyway...that's not my point...I got one of the four to begin reading book five ;D! She is so excited now to know what is going to happen, that she is now borrowing my 5th book! I OBVIOUSLY can't let her borrow my 4th book ...as it is still in limbo somewhere, so she is going to just move on to the 5th, and ask any questions if she has them ! Exalt ! Alas...born is a new Harry Potter Fan!

You sure can be sweet Billywiggy ! I'm still holding on to hope that it will turn up somewhere. I took it on a trip to Idaho over the summer (in August), and that was the last time I read it or saw it . I must have left it at the cabin . I'm sure someone in the immediate family is enjoying my book ! Don't worry, I'll get it back, if it's the last thing I do !
