Here you can speculate about the last book in the Harry Potter series. Go ahead! Make some theories about the plot, title, release date, anything!
Beware of **SPOILERS!**

From the Alan Rickman Appreciation Thread... Wouldn't that be terrible if Snape actually turned out to be evil and on Lord Voldemort's side? I won't let myself think that, though.

Hmmmmm I shall start with my book 7 theories. I cannot believe Snape will be evil, I am coming up with all shorts of theories. I still think he's a goodie, and in book 7 he'll do something super wonderful <insert JKR's wonderful description of such act here> to save Harry/other OotP members. Ok, someone else can disagree with me

I don't disagree with you. I totally agree! I still believe that Snape is good even though I was in shock (and crying my eyes out) after what he did. I think that he will redeem himself in book 7 by helping/saving/maybe even giving his life for the trio and whoever else is by Harry's side when Harry faces Voldemort. That would prove to everyone that he was good all along!

I think we'll be seeing more of Aberforth Dumbledore. If you've read the interview Emerson (Mugglenet) and Melissa (TLC) did with JKR, she mentions that Snape's been in love. Do you think we'll find out in book 7? Oh and for the record, I don't think it was Lily. Sorry.

I do think it was Lily that Snape was in love with it makes sence to me anyway. I think our Snapie will die in book seven, which i have decided to call Harry Potter and the randy house elves :Dtill the title has been given. I think he will protect Harry in someway. Maybe at the final battle between Voldie and Harry Snape might be there and step infront of Harry (maybe) just before he goes to kill him.
what do you all think?

I have to agree with the whole thing about Snape dying. Now if he's actually "evil" (which I refuse to believe until JKR says he is in an interview or until book 7 tells me) he might die or go to Azkaban where he'll rot.

*shivers at the thought up Snape rotting in Azkaban* I'd rather he die for a good cause and for Harry than suffer in Azkaban.
But yeah, that is interesting about how Snape has been in love. I was so happy to find that out because he has had such a miserable life (Snape's Worst Memory, little Snape in the corner while his parents fight or something to that extent). I feel sorry for the guy! I also thought that he had been in love with Lily. All possible evidence points in that direction so far. I mean, she was the one who stood up for him. Even though he told her off doesn't mean that he hated her. I think it's quite the opposite. I think he loved her but just didn't want to let her see that. That's why he doesn't like Harry. Whenever he looks in Harry's eyes, he see Lily's eyes and that reminds him of Lily and how this is her son with his enemy James Potter. It doesn't help the fact that Harry looks so much like his father.
Hmmm... for some reason this brings to mind, why did Voldemort give Lily the chance to live?

Hmmm... for some reason this brings to mind, why did Voldemort give Lily the chance to live? Because he knew she'd sacrifice herself therefore he wasn't really giving her the chance? I think if Snape has been in love with anyone, my bet is on Lily- other then that maybe one of the Weird Sisters and some teenage crush I can just see Sev's bedroom plastered in Weird Sister posters! Maybe that will come up next in the pensieve (sorry, getting all silly now aren't I?! ;D)

Because he knew she'd sacrifice herself therefore he wasn't really giving her the chance? I dunno....I still think he was giving her a chance to live for some reason. But maybe you're right. Voldemort is the most cold-blooded wizard there is so it's kind of hard to think he would let someone in his way live. LOL! That's too much... :)Snape having a crush on a Weird Sister and his bedroom plastered with posters of them. lol!

I'm going to search Mugglenet now to see if i'm right. mind you they may not all be male.
I found a few things saying he maybe in the wierd sisters but not enough to put in a link also something about radiohead.

Ok, guess I get smited for not doing my homework and slandering Snape?! Oops! In my imagination the Weird Sisters were females. Crazy frizzy hair, billowing multi-coloured robes and stripey socks...Snape's kinda girls ;D

Mugglemichelle here's a karma point for you. You deserve more than one. But anyways, I always thought that the Weird Sisters were females, too. So, they're actually going to be men in the movie? lol, weird... weren't they women in the books? I'm confused. Are they going to keep the name Weird Sisters for the movie? I can just see it...the announcer saying "Please welcome the Weird Sisters!" and out comes guys instead of girls. lol. hmm... this is interesting.

shakespeare's Wierd sisters were described as " withered women with beards" (Banquo) "secret, black, and midnight hags," "filthy hags"(scottish guy, starting with M) and here is the old article about them in the move, including a bitof a description www.hpana.com/news.18499.html

Wait, aren't there more than three members in the Weird Sisters? *is more confused*
Anyway, I was looking over the Mugglenet interviews again and was wondering about something...
I know there are lots of theories on Snape being in love with Lily, but does anyone have any ideas as to who would be in love with Snape?
