In the last chat I was in, the Beatles were brought up, and I have not heard many of their songs. But on Thursday, my chemistry teacher put in a Beatles CD and I thought about the chat. I recongized a few of the songs. I have to find someone who has the Beatles CDs so I can listen to them.

He is a famous bapiper here in Spain , personally I think he plays pipe like no other if you love celtic music and folky too you will love him www.youtube.com/watch?v=DlfdIRzSnM8And well... I suppose that when it finishes the song I'm going to listen Flogging Molly , maybe Devil's dance floor or Cruel mistress ^_^...

Hey! I like Celtic music too! Especially Irish Folk, Scottish Folk and American Folk (are there any other kinds of Folk music left? *lol*) I tried to follow your link, but YouTube removed the clip. I watched this one instead: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNwDp_qjMUwBut I think this Hevia plays a slightly synthetic kind of Folk. At least in this clip. I think I'm just Folk addicted. I love to listen to "The Dubliners" or "The Corries", Johnny Cash... and so on. But I'm listening to Jazz and Blues as well. My favourite song at the moment is "Vorzeigelinker" by Hagen Rether. He's a german cabaret artist. I love cabaret by the way.^^ In case you would like to listen: www.hagen-rether.de/html/kabarett_-_vorzeigelinker.html

LOL Every day I' m more glad that you have joined ARAS! Uhm .. well, you have reason, the song to that you have listened is a bit rare( or strange). Here you have the song about which I spoke --> youtube.com/watch?v=lFRDT2dvBbc I hope you'll like it. And certainly Hevia is not a puritan, if you want to listen a pure celtic music it will be better to listen the real Irish Folk I've search something about The Dubliners" and "The Corries" at youtube, they're great! , I didn't know anything about them till now! Here you have the link of another group I like a lot: Mago de Oz -> costa del silencio ( The Wizard of Oz -> Silence Coast ) It's a spanish folk-rock with a little bit of Celtic influence They do a severe complaint on the accident of the "Prestige": a ship full of oil ran aground on the north coast of Spain one year ago and the whole coast remained full of Fuel oil, they called on across this song in order that we ( the spanish) were learning to take care of our beaches. youtube.com/watch?v=Qsl_jXXl3YwNowadays it's one of my favorites songs, the refrain says: "Ven, quiero oír tu voz y si aun nos queda amor impidamos que esto muera Ven pues en tu interior está la solución para salvar lo bello que nos queda" - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Come here, I want to hear your voice and if even we still have love let's prevent that die Come here, because inside you is the solution to save this beautiful thing that we still have ( the sea )" ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

YAY! another Irishfolckmaniac! LOL Every day I' m more glad that you have joined ARAS! I already noticed that we have a lot of similarities.^^ Funny. Yes, thats a nice song. But there is this Keyboard and E-guitar, too. I'm mostly for pure music. But not bad this Hevia. He plays great.^^ The Dubliners were my first contact with Irish Folk. I love these cute old men. ;D I visit their concerts every year. Groovy! That rocks! These guys look nice. ;D I didn't know that there are spanish people playing music with irish accents. But why not? There are german playing irish musik too. *lol* My fav. Folksong at the moment is this one from Emmylou Harris: www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4OcN9OV2p0
