Your welcome, des! Will you put pictures up when you are finished? I have tons of pictures and plants (silk) and all kinds of great stuff. I don't even know what I have because I never unpacked it when I moved into the rental. I hope I'll have room for it all. The former owner left a lot of shelving up on the walls. It all has to come down so I can paint, but I'll use it in different ways. And Ringo, I can't wallpaper, either. But I can use Wallies. They're great cutouts you can arrange on the wall yourself. They go up like wallpaper, but there's no matching seams or patterns or corners. I might do a Wallie in one of the rooms. I did a window scene from a Tuscan villa in my last house. Check out wallies.com for some neat stuff. |

I'm getting the wildlife one for the grandkids playroom. It has a deer, ferns, birds, chipmunks, etc. I'm going to ask my daughter to paint a tree on the wall I'm using for the wallie. |

Thank you for posting the Wallies sight - it's great! I'm having a little foot surgery this summer when I'm off and I'll be in the house. What better way to spend my time than doing some crafts?

Glad you liked it. I don't have a window over my kitchen sink, so if it fits, I want to put the tuscan window scene there. I see your location is "redecorating the dungeon." Our work is never done. Hope your foot surgery doesn't keep you from doing your crafts. I got started on crafts when I hurt my back in an accident and couldn't do much of anything else. I'm not very good at that stuff, but I try and I always have fun (after turning the air rather blue).  I'm even worse at home repairs, but that never stops me. |

It'll be weeks, if not months before I get finished, or at least put together enough to take pictures. But I certainly will if you don't mind the wait. And don't expect too much. Never heard of it and it's not listed under Alan in IMDB. As a matter of fact, IMDB doesn't list him in the cast. I've also never seen it on the Amazon list or e-bay when I search for Alan's movies. Anyone else have any info on this? He could be uncredited. Sometimes actors do that if it's a small part. |

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SNAPE!!!!!! Errrm, okay I didn't know if this was the best place to put this but I suppose it is. I had previously been on Chamber Of Secrets Forum but they banned for forever for what was it, "being rude..." i believe. Now I am normally I kind well mannered girl, but to have somebody insult ARAS I may have said a couple of choice words, only in my defence, and sure I called people stupid, but as a collective thing, saying that they need to get their facts right first, but it's true, nobody wants to listen to idiots babble on as if they know something but are completely wrong. So I feel very victimised and I can say if my ban ever gets taken away, I certainly WON'T be posting on their damn site again! Have any-one else been injustly banned from a site? Tell me how you feel about this!

Yes, the Alan thread is still on CoS, but I'm surprised it hasn't been knocked off by the mods again. The topics got waaaay off Alan and into International politics. So I just posted that the thread wasn't what it was supposed to be and gave them a fond farewell. They tried to get me back once, but I'd rather be here and know that when I want to discuss our fave guy, I can do so and not have to wade through post after post on outlandish topics.
I remember when the Lupinites got tossed because that thread deteriorated. They were finally allowed to open a new thread and they've been polite and on topic ever since.
I understand the temptation to put some people in their place, so I type out what I'm really feeling, delete it without posting, and then put it nicely. It gives me time to put my thoughts in order and respond more coherently. I do appreciate the mods being strict because I don't like my ideas being called "stupid" (and I'm sure sometimes they are) and I'm sure other people feel the same way.
PS: Just realized my one year anniversary on ARAS is coming up next month. It's true ... time really does fly when you're having fun. ;D
