Okay, I'm back. I'm done with my finals finally. All I know are two grades and they are both passing grades, but one is a B-. I thought I did really great on that test. Now tomorrow I have new classes, and I have another Bowling game. I had a bowling game Wedsneday, and we took no points, and yesterday, for the whole day it seemed like. No points there even. Whew ... always feels good to get past finals. Glad you made it through.

Tomorrow is moving day. Am I ready? Of course not. Is destination house ready? Don't be silly. Due to unforseen circumstances, the new flooring is not completely installed. The unforeseen circumstance is the flooring I bought and paid for being sold out from under me before my floor guy could go pick it up. The store found the tile at another store and delivered it yesterday, but not in time for the installation to be completed. So movers have to pile furniture in the middle of the floor as that is all that is done, and all boxes have to be put into the garage instead of the proper rooms. The bright side? I'll be running around here tonight doing all the last minute stuff instead of thinking about what awaits me tomorrow, including non-working bathrooms and kitchen. I invited myself to stay at my mothers for a few days (she lives next door to my new home). Nothing like the comfort of Mommy plying you with hot chocolate and cookies.

psst... look I've got a new member ranking! I'm coming col brandon....! I'll trade you one shiny new home for one Grigori and one Christopher Brandon ... oh my. I vow to catch up. BTW ... is it cumulative? If we reach Grigori's girl, do we get to keep him and move on to Brandon? Drooling here, and I've packed my tissues.

So, the ranking rewards are cumulative......*needs to post more*
My great Uncle Richy died Tuesday, the view was yesterday, and the funeral was today. First funeral I remember, though I don't think I have ever been to one.

Sorry about your uncle, Amirab. Funerals are never fun. Yes, running fingers through Phil's hair would definitely relieve the tension of moving. I'm sort of moved in that I have a bed to sleep in and food in the fridge, although I spent the first few nights at my Mom's and had to run next door to use her microwave and shower for the next few nights after that. I still can't get to my washer/dryer. My computer is temporarily set up and I popped in here first. The move didn't go well. We hardly ever have rain here, except for the day I moved. Not only did it rain, but it was the coldest day of the year. The flooring wasn't done, so furniture had to be piled in the middle of the rooms and all the boxes are in the garage instead of the rooms. All this I can live with but all my Alan movies are lost in the midst of all this chaos since I didn't keep them in my video cabinets. They had a separate special place and so got packed separately. But I'm happy to be a homeowner again with all it's problems and headaches. Everything will sort itself out eventually and I sleep very soundly at night with my life size cutout of Han Solo standing guard over me.

EDIT: For the last two days, there have been no school because it is too cold for us students to go. Yay! Yay on the "no school" Boo on the "too cold." Heard it's been record lows all over the north. Our weather in Florida has been pretty nasty but we shouldn't complain. I feel bad for my cousin and his girlfriend. They came down on vacation and the weather has been nasty and miserable. He hasn't even been able to get in any golf and she's had a terrible cold. Has anyone installed Internet Explorer 7? My screen has gone weird on me. My home page is over to the left and I have a blank space on the right. My favorites are now in a drop down and I seem to have some trouble navigating back to my home page. Any suggestions?

sorry des, I installed IE7 weeks ago and have had no problems, I have always had my fave's on a drop down- but if they were on th side that may be why your home-page seems so far to the left? as for the trouble with your homepage- did you try resetting your homepage? ( tools- internet options )

( tools- internet options ) That's the first thing I thought of, but that's part of the problem. Tools and all the others such as File, have completely disappeared. That whole bar is gone.

Des, I don't have Internet Explorer, but may i suggest taking a screencap of your computer screen so SW can see what are you may be talking about. Thanks for the suggestion. It's a good one. I found the "tools" area finally and it seems that everything has just been moved around. I'm going to try SW's suggestion first and if that doesn't work, I'm going to try the "tab" option. We'll see what happens. ETA: Hah!!!! Just got back my "menu bar" by right clicking on the bar and adding it back in. I'll soldier on and see what else I can find. 2nd ETA: Hah again!!! I just love to play around on computers and find what I need to make things right. Got it all back as I like it. Did I ever mention that I HATE CHANGE!!! Favorites are back where they should be. Menu bar is back whereit should be. Okay, little home icon is in a different place is so is the favorites star, but I can live with that. Everything else is okay and all is right with my internet world.
