Amirab, I'm very impressed with you responding to Orion in Spanish. It's a very useful language to learn. Yea, that is what everyone is telling me. ;D I had an intro to spanish in 8th grade, and I really did not want to take any more spanish, but my teacher told me to take in 9th grade, so I did. And now it has helped me. Also, I can learn spanish here, in a way.

Man, being a homeowner is tough!! The bad news - still no high speed internet and for some reason java is no longer working! I can't get into any chat rooms, really annoying, lol.
Imagine my surprise to come in after another afternoon of working outside to turn on the satelite (sp?) and find that I get the IFC, which is the Independent Film Channel. What just so happened to be on?? An Awfully Big Adventure!! And I caught it right near the beginning so I got to watch his intro and all the good scenes, lol! Sometimes hardwork does pay off!!
Hope to talk to everyone soon!

Man, being a homeowner is tough!! Know what you mean. I closed on my house on 12/29 and I'm still dealing with remodeling. What I am having done really only requires handymen, but it's sure tough to get them to show up. At least you had a great big Alan reward. I rewarded myself with GQ the other day and rewarded myself again tonight with Snow Cake. Can't watch it until tomorrow, but I recorded it tonight.

I've always wanted to learn Spanish but I'm learning Japanese at the moment, I did learn German for a while, and I know a tiny bit of two other languages that I forgot currently but I'm a fairly good languist but sometimes I can't pick it up, I am not boasting I'm simply good at music and learning languages depending on their complexity, not only am I not able to find anyone to teach me spanish, but I simply think it would be too confusing. though if i tried hard enough i'm sure i could, congrats and sympathies for all our home-owners here

These are just wild guesses on my part IE but this is what I would do
check your settings on your security software. make sure jave is not being blocked tools- internet options- advanced- check enable java-apply
and check your pop up blocker... as the java opens in a new window you may need to press Ctrl when you click on enter

Perhaps its one of those naughty gremlins that took the chat offline briefly at that moment you were trying to get on, Irish. I've just checked and the chat is working for me. I've just had difficulty getting to a different page then 2 mins later its worked fine

Hello, I have a question for the London girls of the forum (there is some girl who lives in London or near to London? I would like to know which airport is more near the center of London: Luton or Stansted? I and my friends are looking at the flights up to London, probably this year I could be present at the premiere of hp ;D, I'm wishing it! x3 Besides I have been looking for information in Internet and have read that the people who want to be present at the premiere needs tickets to be there (even to be in the street and be able to see the actors), it is true?, if someone know about it might say to me how to obtain this kind of tickets? But the important question is: Alan is going to be in the OOTP premiere? !

Dealing with your questions in reverse order... no one but Alan knows if he'll be at the OOTP premiere and unfortunately its pretty hard to find out! It all depends on what other commitments he has and if he's in town on that date. I would think if he can make it, he'd be there. For the POA and GOF premieres, you did not need a ticket to be outside the cinema/in the crowd. You just need to be up early, take plenty snacks and have a strong bladder!! Do you have the link where it said you need a ticket to just be outside for a premiere? I am curious to know where they have got their info! I've done a bit research for you Orion. Its about 25 mins by train from Central London to Luton airport and they run a 'regular service'. Read more hereStansted airport has its own express train service which runs every 15 mins and takes 45mins to Central London. There's also frequent coaches to various parts of London too. Read more hereThere's also Gatwick and Heathrow airports which I believe run similar train services to Central London. Hope this helps

T_T * sigh * now I have another problem ( HELP! ), have read in some forums that the WB has postponed the premiere of hp for July 12, it is true? In some web pages they say that it is 3 and in other 12 `!!! ( UK premiere) Does someone know about this? I really need to know it, my flights and the trip depend of the certain day

This is what I found on wikipedia Release
The film will be the third Harry Potter film to be given a simultaneous release in conventional theatres and IMAX. The IMAX release will feature the full movie in 2-D and final 20 minutes of the film in 3-D. [79] According to Warner Bros. executives, the film will be shown on over 10,000 theater screens this summer.[80]
WB has confirmed that the film is scheduled to be released within a short period of time, between 11 July and 27 July 2007. They have tried to stick with day-and-date releases for most countries "except in the Middle East and a few minor markets, because most are going to be in holidays at that point." This set of summer releases, even though the films are typically released in the winter, "really maximizes our opportunity," said a representative for WB.[80]
The premiere of the film in the UK will take place on 3 July 2007. The US premiere will take place on 8 July.[81]
The following release dates in major English-speaking countries have been confirmed:[82][83][84][85][86]
* Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico — 12 July * Canada, Ireland, United States — 13 JulyIt looks like what you are talking about is the release to the general public on the 12th of July! The premiere is on the 3rd of July ! I hope this helps! I am pretty sure it is accurate ! Mugglemichelle, Ringo, or Winky...do you know if it has changed?

Ooooooh!!!! Thank you for solving my problem!! I was so worried!.... You will think that I am a sick of hp, but only I can ask for one holiday week to my chief because of this it was so necessary to know the exact day. But... it's strange because the premieres are in the habit of accompanying the day that the film appears for the public ?! (( Are you sure? forgive me , I trust in your criterion , only the confusion is worrying me ))

I Have a Question is there going to be a HP Premere in LA or Hollywood? When and where is it going to be? The Leaky Cauldron stated that an LA premiere of OOTP would take place on July 8th. No details of where and when yet. Check out their news archives or my Alan upcoming projects section of my website for more info

Whoops, somehow missed your post giggin! It was news to me today about the release being moved to July 12th but TLG have confirmed it with Warner Bros here. Not that I'm complaining ;D ORION Warners Bros don't seem to have much consistancy with when the premieres take place, in relation to the release of the film. GOF premiere was 1 day before the public release, POA was 6 days before. The local council who confirm and approve the hosting of premieres have not confirmed the Harry Potter date yet. They have events listed up until 30th June so I'll keep checking. If it was me I'd be waiting until they list the date before I made any plans

You have reason, thanks for the great information, indeed I am very grateful.
Only I would like to know if there is some public place (web page) where the local council use to confirm and approve the hosting of premieres.
