from the intitial reviews and the new trend towards small budget movies, and the presence of both CarrieAnne Moss and Miss Weaver, I am holding out hope this movie will get a wide theatrical release go check out an interview of the man link on snowcake thread!

That woman scares me a bit Just as well Alan didn't happen to be walking down the street when she was strolling by, I'd be scared for him. Cool little story about the taxi though, perhaps it was Rima's mum and that was why he was a grump, we all know what mother-in-laws can be like

I'll be happy if it comes out in Region 1 on DVD. But it would be nice to see it in the theater, too. I noticed in Desraelda's post in the News section that "Perfume" isn't yet scheduled for a release in the USA. And indeed, "Snow Cake" seems to have been delayed until late this year. *Sigh*. Personally, I for the most part stopped going to movies. They're all the same: really loud, trying to combine massive action with humor and etc, etc. I, for one, would welcome a wider distribusion of any independent films (but, obviously, especially Alan's )

From the News thread... What a fantastic article! Alan is one of the few celebrities where I'd just love to discuss subjects in depth over a cup of coffee (of course, this is assuming that my brain could function)...

Does anyone know when we can hope for more news about a possible release date for Snow Cake in the USA? I know little about "the business". Could such an announcement come any day now? Are we in for some wait here? And yes, fantastic article, thanks so much for sharing it. Let's see, we give out karma points for stuff like that, don't we?

His glasses look nice too He does seem to suit those glasses (even if Sigourney says he looks shifty in them in the movie!), I don't think he wears glasses in real life does he..? He looks like the type of person who should. The ones he wore in Love Actually suited him too.

He especially looked good in the stills from the 'John Gissing' movie that never was released.

Check out the article below! If this is true, we may need to plan a "NY ARAS Club Meeting" in the coming months! I better get to writing!! baltimore.broadwayworld.com/viewcolumn.cfm?colid=11685As far as I can tell, nothing is definite yet, but. . . its always best to be prepared!! I better start saving money now, just in case, lol. ;D That would be awesome to go and see him. I'm probably a day away from New York.
