Tristaphobia - the fear of sthingys. I don't understand why people think this fear is irrational. Those sthingys are deadly. EDIT: See? Even the forums refuse to display the word spoon. Deadly, I tell you.

BWAH! That's the swear blocker kicking into action. I'll have to go fix that.
Though that was unintentionally funny (much like Robin Hood: PoT)...

I saw this movie when I didn't know the actors by names, so I didn't remember Rickman was in the movie. *crying* So anyway, I really wanted to see the movie again a while back, but I couldn't find it on TV. I finally did but it was in Spanish! Good thing I'm Hispanic and know Spanish...
Well he was really good in this movie (like always), but too bad I didn't hear his voice.

Again not a film i would watch but i have when i decided to watch all Alan films that was on the top of my list because people told me it was great. I love the humour in the film, i thought it would be too serious for me but it wasn't i loved it. I love Alan in it but there was something in his eyes i didn't like he look evil before he spoke, his eye arn't useally that colour are they? I have never noticed it before if they are but i may be wrong. i can't hold a spoon with out laughing and i was in stiches when the statue had the cut on it's face like his, that did amuse me. Overall love, love, love the film, he got an award for it didn't he? I forget now.

And I think he received a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor. It's kind of funny, don't you think? Half of his performance was left on the cutting room floor, but he still managed to steal the movie. Take that Costner!!

I thought that Alan had all the best lines as well,he was so nasty as George, but so funny with it,I love the fact that in all his films,he gets to fling a door open and slam it shut....He does love the "door"....hehehehee

Who wants Kevin when you can have Alan! Not me! Alan wins all the time! Robin Hood Prince of Theives first introduced me to the Man and I have not looked back since. Call of Christmas*sigh*what a line! (Apparently the speech was supposed to have gone like this!) ;D Call of Christmas, Cancel kitchen scraps for lepers and orphans, AND no more Merciful Beheadings! But he got confused or decided this line would be better that way around I don't know but it was genius! Oh and I love the bit where he covers Marions mouth and says; Yes of course she does! And the bit where he says Because its dull you twit it will hurt more! And Oh I'll admit it I love everything the man says in the film... Who is that Robin Hood Person anyway?

LOL I first watched RHPOT because of Christian (an actor I used to like very much but a bit less now...) and finally noticed Alan was in it (well, I watched it for the first time in 1995 I think...)

I love this movie. My friends and I say the "Call off Chirstmas" line a lot. After that I always say the spoon line. It is a great movie.

This was the first of Alan's movies that I saw in the theater (on a date actually, but never mind that). It's my favorite of all his movies. He just totally steals the whole thing from what's-his-name with no accent, and I adore every minute he's in it. Especially all those extra minutes that are in the extended DVD version. *sighs wistfully*

I love the extended scenes more than the original movie.
Don't you love the bit in the dungeons where he walks in and sees a man chained to a wall and he has his hands above his head and then he walks in slams the door and says.
"Sorry to keep you hanging about!" And the way he smiles cheekily when he does it. It is so funny!
Also Cissy that 'You my room...' was the line I most remembered from the film weeks after I went to see it and you know what I realised the other day.
This year is my thirteenth anniversary of loving Alan Rickman! Dated to this film and this film only!

Welcome Cissy,I love this film only because of our Alan,he is so good as the sheriff,I just remember going to see the film and thinking that Kevin Costner would be good in it,huh,I left the film thinking that he was very bad,but thinking that the bloke who played the sheriff was so very good, and also very nice looking,I went onto get all his films, from then till now,and I am still as obsessed with him,I guess even more...So,the sheriff started it all for me really....
