In my 32 years in the film and tv biz I got to work with many top actors, alas Alan was not to be one of them. The 1st A.D. on Robin was an old mate of mine (David Tringham) and he asked if I could do a few weeks with him on the film as one of the ''Merry Men'' but I was working elsewhere so couldn't make the gig. (It was my loss) Alan was the best thing in the film. I did manage a few jobs though ;D Aitch, That is so cool. You were so close to Alan Rickman.

OK, I just got to watch the extra scenes: fantastic!! He is such a terrific actor. I was a bit disappointed with the behind the scenes interview they had with him. It seemed that all the interviewer wanted to know about was Kevin Costner, not Alan. Anyway, great film, made even more great with more scenes of our Alan!

I can imagine how much less successful the movie would have been without them.

I think this was the first film that got my focus on Alan.I was in the cinema and completely blown away.He definately stole the show there.Absolutely brilliant.I love it when he has this somewhat sinister side to show.He does that brilliantly.

I loved Alan as the Sheriff... this was his film (not K.C.'s), he stole from K.C. even without the added scenes. The extra scenes were a definite bonus and the interview with Alan on the second disc was drool-worthy.
