Tonight I came home from work feeling battered and bruised and in need of a romantic film escape so I watched The Ghost and Mrs. Muir in a dark room with the candles lit for about the 50th time and I still love it. If I could be haunted, it would be hard to choose between Rex Harrison's sea captain and Alan's Jamie from TMD. I guess I'd have to pick both! And oh! that film score!

Thanks to my film studies class I've been on a bit of an Alfred Hitchcock kick lately. I've been seeing all of his films that I can find. I've already seen Psycho, Notorious, and Shadow of a Doubt. I've rented a copy of Vertigo that I'm hoping to have time to watch this weekend, and I'm hoping to get a copy of Spellbound soon. I've also rented Barchester Chronicles for the umpteenth time. I'm hoping to find a copy to purchase soon so that I don't have to keep renting it from the library every other weekend. My friend Matt and I are going to see V for Vendetta tonight. I'm usually fairly skeptical about movies like this, but I think that this is going to be a fairly decent one.

As to Alfred H. - Have you seen The Birds? one of my faves of his... and V for Vendetta does look good, actually, but I'd like to get my hands on the original graphic novel first

I've go to say I must have been half asleep when I was typing before, I'm noticing that at least part of what I said makes little sense even to me. V for Vendetta was pretty good. I'd also like to read the original graphic novel, but it is so next to impossible to find.

At this moment, I'm watching a movie called Quills, with Geoffrey Rush, Katie Winslet, Joaquin Phoenix and Micheal Caine. It's actually a really good movie. I also watched Loin King over the weekend, that's one of my favorite Disney movies.Im planning on watching Balto, hopefully sometime this week, thats a lovely Disney movie, just a bit sad though.

I know its a bit of a late reply, but I have seen A History of Violence. Definitely violent, not for younger viewers. It is rated R for a reason. I would recommend renting it first before purchasing it if you aren't into really violent films. It was a good story line though with a plot twist which i won't give away!

This weekend, we watched "Terminator 1" and "Back to the Future 1 and 2" ! Next weekend, we'll probably end up watching "Terminator 2 and 3", and "Back to the Future 3" ! Don't know why we didn't just watch all three Back to the Futures this weekend, instead of Terminator. I love watching them all in a row ...but oh well! It just didn't work out that way this weekend !

I also got Pride and Prejudice and Blithe Spirit. If you haven't seen Blithe Spirit you should. It is hilarious! ooh - which Pride and Prejudice did you get? Keira Knightley version Billywiggy! And the best version for me because the people (apart from Mr Bingley!) were exactly how I portrayed them in my imagination. Matthew Mcfadyen, yummy!

Oh yes, Matthew McFayden . . . *drools*, he WAS Mr. Darcy! But I didn't like Keira as Elizabeth . . . preferred Jennifer Ehle's portrayal. Can't wait to see this version again, though. Have it in my Netflix queue!

I went to Jane Austens house Billywiggy and women in her day weren't as well endowed as Jennifer Ehle they would have had the more slight, slim trim, figure that Keira Knightley has, Jennifer Ehle was a little too big for the role. I saw the dresses she wore and they were tiny! Keira was more appropriate for the day and I always imagined her to look like Keira Knightley.
