Hey, I saw Anger Management yesterday on TV and it's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. LOL I couldn't stop laughing.
Anyone else seen it?

Watched Scrooged about 5 days ago....Bill Murray was so hillarious! I always forget how funny he is until I watch this every Christmas time! Then I got real busy until tonight when I watched the Bishops Wife! I absolutely adore Cary Grant! He is so stunningly amazing! I love this movie so much . My favorite line is: "The only people who grow old, were born old to begin with. You were born young. You will remain that way." Tomorrow...we will be watching White Christmas and A Christmas Carol ...all while eating cheese balls and crackers!

I don't think I ever replied to say that, despite my scepticism about Narnia, I actually really enjoyed it! I wouldn't say there was any particular part I liked the most- I was wary at first of the four childrens' acting, but they did seem to get better (or I got used to them, I constantly compare people to Alan ). I liked Jim Broadbent too, shame he couldn't have a bigger part.

Saw both 'King Kong' and 'Narnia' over the holidays. Bit disappointed with both, to tell the truth ( I know - I'm probably too hard to please. Just give me Alan, though - and I'll think the movie is great! ) Funny thing is - while watching Kong, I kept thinking - he's a bit like Snape; strong and powerful, but tired and a bit broken down - he just wants some love and respect. LOL! A sign I'm at the CoS forums a bit too much!

I saw "Walk the Line" today. I really liked that movie (and I'm not even much of a fan of Johnny Cash). Joaquin Phoenix was *excellent*. Great acting, great singing (which surprised me that he did all of his own singing), and not too bad on the eyes...

I couldn't believe about the singing either - I was amazed that it was JP singing, I thought he sounded just like Johnny Cash! And Reese Witherspoon's got a pretty good voice too.

I think I read Angela Landsbury is in it. No Angela Landsbury is not in it! It's Emma Thompson (genius, also known as the female Alan) and Colin Firth. Colin Firth has loads of Naughty kids and need someone to take control of them so in comes Nanny McPhee and she kind of magical and it's soo good.

Okay, I think I'm officially poor. Soooooo many DVDs were released today, and I had to buy them all. And I did. I had to have "Walk the Line" (bought the Collector's Edition) and "Pride & Prejudice" (also bought season 3 of "Newsradio", but I digress).
I have no idea what I'm going to watch first.
But I do know that I need to make money for next week. Gotta buy GoF!

After reading everyones comments I will have to agree with Actingangie, LWW was absolutely fantastic and I've been a life long Narnia fan. As for the BBC adaptation I actually met the actors who were in it! Nyah, nyah! Including one Filius Flitwick. Or the actor that played him! Yes I have met Warwick Davies and did not know it! Aargh!
I went to see it the same day as GoF and I am sorry Winky but both were fantastic as each other! I can't wait to get either DVD. I also am a Muppet and I love Miss Piggy, what a Diva! And speaking of the Charlie Wars between Gene and Johnny, I think, IMHO that they are both as creepy as each other in their own individual way. I love both of them!
I have ordered both Corpse Bride and Curse of the Wererabbit and can't wait to see that!
My dream cast? Lord of the Rings plus Alan Rickman and Jason Isaacs.
In fact Order of the Phoenix is almost my dream cast.
Pity really that we can't get Robin Williams (wrong nationality!) in as Dumbledore I'm sure he'd do a nicer job!
I too love Steel Magnolias and have grudgingly been converted to Julia Roberts (through Michael Collins which has Alan Rickman and Liam Neeson in it) Emmymik I can't seem to find a thread to discuss Michael Collins in Alans other film section .
Any Jodie Foster fan should check out Anna and the King - look out for Tom Felton pre-Draco and he's brilliant in it, I wished he preferred acting to fishing!
Oh and if you do live in Britain there is another great DVD release on the 2Oth March, the excellent Maid Marion and her Merry Men with Tony Robinson. And the actor that plays Rabies is in Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves briefly. The actor that plays King John is in Voyage of the Dawn Treader as the beaurocratic satrap of the Lone Islands. So I guess I'm going to have to get into debt.
I also have my parents anniversary coming up in a few short weeks and will probably get a few then. I don't celebrate birthdays and Christmas I get presents on the day my parents get married, they have been married happily for 35 years! That will be on 27th of this month.
Top ten films are:
1) Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (how can it not top my list?) 2) Lord of the Rings trilogy (love the books but the films blew my mind!) 3) Willow (childhood was spent watching this besides Val Kilmer half naked yummy!) 4) Labyrinth (King Jareth was my second child hood crush!) 5) Star Wars Trilogy1 (Phantom to Revenge of Sith) (Yes I do prefer the later to the earlier as the emotions of Anakin and Padme are what I have been through myself!) 6) Star Wars Trilogy2 (The rest!) (Harrison Ford with shirt half undone!) 7) Harry Potter lot! (obvious ain't it!) 8) Sense and Sensibility (Alan Rickman as a nice guy!) 9) Chitty, Chitty Bang Bang (Child Catcher was my first childhood crush!) 10) Mary Poppins (same as Willow except the Val Kilmer bit!)
As you can tell I am a romantic fantasist!
Oh and I loved the Kingdom of Heaven, if only it had Alan Rickman in it that would have made it perfect!
What I saw of the trailer of Troy I wasn't that impressed with it and besides not a big Brad Pitt fan sorry there's something about him that makes me shiver with disgust!
